Try gps enabled. It's unbelievable what gpsd could do when you disable gps.

Since Sony waterproof with glue, probably they can't honor the warranty anymore.

But I do find it weird that Samsung can't honor them as well. Why?

Personally I replaced my S6e screen before and one of the item that was charged into the billing was a repair kit. According to the service advisor, it's those tapes that glued the back glass to the unibody chassis. If they clean it up properly, then reapply a new layer of the tape on the S7e chassis, theoretically they should be waterproof it. I don't think there will be different from manufacturing except this time it will be done by hand instead of robot.

Different? Jerry video took the back cover apart and there's nothing that sealed it except the tape. Of course the S6e is not water proof and I'm not referring to it. I'm just saying regardless of the repair, once they open the back cover, they will change the tape. Why they can't seal it back properly? More like excuse than anything.

Unless if you dropped the phone and the aluminium chassis is so badly deformed that it would compromise the water proofing.

Samsung dont test them as well. Probably 1 or 10 in a million get pulled and tested randomly.

Samsung optimized the stock browser with hardware acceleration. Only stock browser had hardware acceleration enabled.

Note 3 cannot compare. However Samsung had done serious hardware acceleration since S6 last year. Even review site purposely mention it many times liao. Only stock browser can get this hardware acceleration enabled.

Lifted or not also didn't matter. How many people actually put their phone screen down rubbing against table or whatever? My S6e also used naked since day 1 and no problem at all.

Actually it is only slippery at first. Once you used it for a month or two, the slippery feeling will be gone.

That is the way it should be. Once they replaced the screen, they will replace all the adhesive which make the phone water resistant.

The oily surface on the glass will be gone after few months.

Anyway, S7e is more prone to this problem than S6e when you tried one hand with it.

Im just wondering. Does the exposure make any difference on these camera without mechanical shutter?

Whatsapp group does drain battery quite seriously even on my S6e. There was once where a friend passed away and I was added to the group. The bombardment of 2k++ messages over the next 60minutes drain my battery like hell.

Update:

And I didnt even read them... it just keep buzzing only... the temp was like when using Fast Charger to charge the phone.

After I quit the group, everything went back to normal. So definitely is Whatsapp group causing massive battery drain. I had other groups too but smaller one like 3-5 person and never encounter similar problem.

I thought you are alone? 99% here have the edge version.
