Ya. Most of the flash lens on any phone will be scratched from time to time. But I don't think it's a big deal. Afterall, no matter how it scratched, it won't affect its functionality on flashing. Of course, it will be another story if the user has OCD on keeping the phone in perfect shape.

There's no way whatsapp would drain so much battery power unless you open whatsapp on the screen all the time.

Ya. I can see that. That's why i asked. Are you openning whatsapp on screen all the time? The more you read and type in whatsapp, the higher percentage you drain in the whatsapp part. That's how I see it. Mind to tell us how you use your whatsapp daily?

I see. Then it's weird. Since the phone is still fairly new, the battery should be in tip top condition. The battery usage won't lie to you. If it indicated the whatsapp is using a huge percentage of battery, then it is.

I am not an expert in this area. But i suspect that it was caused by the mobile radio active bug. If you use 3G/4G (data network) all the time while using whatsapp, there's a big chance that this bug is causing a huge drain in background. It's a well known bug in lollipop. But not sure if this already fixed in MM.

If you have chance, may be you can switch to wifi, and keep using your whatsapp in the same manner & pattern. See if there's any change. If the whatsapp battery drain is reduced significantly, then I think the culprit is the data network.

Your s6e is still in lollipop? If yes, then it's kind of predictable. My OPO is still in lollipop. Everytime I switched to data network, the whatsapp would always be on the top in the battery usage list, eventhough there's only a few messages coming in.
