open a hole at rear panel... this is for psu de...

open another hole again at bottom part... to let psu & hardisk can go inside & also for the cable of psu can go through to mother board, cd rom which located at bottom part (another case)....

i take off the hardisk holder from my original case...

then put the hardish holder inside my small case, ketet by screw.... actually the height of the holder & small case is the same...

place the small case at the top of my original case, try n c the case fit o not....

Will the PSU short circuit if you put it somewhere outside the casing like you did? just asking.....

that thing looks like Aluminium sheet it should be .dont u think it wont be that rigid blink.gif if you use that

that is white metal (dont know actual name)... if just for psu & hardisk should be no problem... it is quite enough rigid if just put on the top of my case... if put bellow my case sure hapis la, hahahaaaaa......... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

when u put on top of ur case i suggest u put some rubber filings between the top case and the bottom , later sure encounter vibration sounds and groaaa sound blink.gif ,

haha... ok... the blue rectangle i draw is for hardisk holder before, i take out already....

1st, do u feel the hardware inside my case so tight & too small?? so the air flow very bad in my case, the temperature will increase if after few hours.... my processor is place at the back of the psu, its quite near, just 3cm between only... so every time my processor also very hot....

2nd, if i make a window at side panel sure have to remove my psu & hardisk right... cos they will block the view inside....

so i have to remove the 2 thing then make a small case to place them....

Basically with ur current rig based on the signature ..definitely ur rig would over heat after few hours .... it just so cramp and the air flow is weak and restricted ...

more updated today....

i cut 1 piece of arcylic to make the front panel for my small case.... i wan pasang two 80mm fan at front panel....

cut 2 blow hole there to have a good air flow in the small case, especially for my hardisk that place at the back of the front panel.... the psu also in the small case so if dont have a good air flow sure will very hot inside....

then drill some hole for the fan screw & case screw....

nice job ... u should proud with what u did so far.... i have never gone this far for a case....

with the two fans ... ur HDD should be safe ...

that signature is my latest comp, this is old 1....

u r right, it is so cramp and the air flow is so weak and restricted...but it will not over heat...

haahhahaaa... i wan put 2 HDD there, if no fan my HDD sure will get heatstroke... rclxub.gif
