last year i sold off the 24-105 to fund the 6d, and i got the awesome tamron 28-75 as a cheaper alternative...

this year, i have a feeling that i may trade in the 28-75 back to the 24-105, i think i am nuts lol

no complains, no regrets, in fact, everything is perfect with this tamron! i just prefer to have that extra 70-105mm and i cant find the tamron 70-200 anywhere :'(

ya, weighing all options, but so far saw a pretty cheap 24-105 used set, so thought of getting it, gain extra range but lose out on speed...
why oh why tamron never come out with 24-105 f2.8????

well ofcoz there is the canon 28-300L though

1st thoughts - meh... looks like those cheapo kit lens lol
the build, although plastic, felt much better and steadier than the "standard kit lens"

i got myself the non VC non PZD version, it was dark but was till able to focus albeit shooting with iso 12800 means the whole shot would be grainy. will update later for standard snapshots

shot handheld @ 1/125, F6.3, AWB, ISO 12800. 300mm
some vignetting towards 300mm, but autofocus was pretty accurate
seems to be much better than i have expected lol

depends on what u wanna shoot

brudderrrrrr, how can u compare an all rounder cheapo lens with an L lens la?
but people like me always love to try using el-cheapo lens coz that's what i can afford la, and if the performance can rival the better ones, why not?

28mm surprisingly good with minimal distortion! feels like typical 28mm, bokeh also pretty decent
later will post some photos using 28mm
