There is no indication on m2p supp cards that they are supp and not principal....so the staff cannot tell, and will assume it's principal..... when I enter with wife using both, they never ask if my wife is principal or supp.....just swipe and enter....
*
Oh so they just charge your supp card?

No my wife's card is principal (see my earlier post about the bank charging annual fee), but they never ask.... natural assumption is, she would be my supp....but they never clarify...
*
So in the end did you or your wife get charged? Or masuk free only?

If I email them the redemption form for TP, how long will they process it?

If I email them last day of the month, will it still consider under the old program?

First time redeeming for KF miles xD

unlikely, when u did ur redemption?
call CS is the fastest way, in minute they will process, and u will get ur KF next day. (Best case scenario)

but u first timer, will take longer day on the transfer, they will do some sort of verification.
*
Ah okay... So calling the CS is the best way... Ill call them maybe 1 week before the month ends

I called the CS to convert all my points into KF. Same 1 ring pickup xD

Ive asked the CS and he told me that the revision changes will not effect the redemption as long we convert it within this month. But too be safe, just do it earlier

But will you really use your Amex when you can use your Amex R instead? Would you forgo 1000 miles for a RM50 cash back?
*
She can utilize both. Once cash back cap reached, use the other one. So why not keep all? bruce.gif

Standard answer is 7 working days, in 3 tranches of redemption this month, the kf miles were credited in 2-3 days.....even on weekend.....called Saturday night, and credited Monday evening....
*
Just checked my KF account, got it already.. Really fast... Unlike citibank PM where it took almost 1 month plus to get it reflected...

Yeah, maybank real efficient. Very fast. AmBank also takes ages to redeem miles, though not as bad as 1 month.
Btw, what's the best way to pay things like TNB, Majlis Bandaraya etc? Both Amex & VI gets you 1x TP. I guess best option is just to transfer to BigPay and pay using BP right?
*
Im paying through Boost now. Since Boost accepts AMEX and they just introduce utilities payment such as unifi. so it should be 5x since its not under utilities or govt.

Please confirm if my info above is correct.

(Sorry no TNB) xD

18k points... Thats alot.. If you use VI, you will need to spend RM9k. If AMEX then RM3.6k

To me every point counts xD

QUOTE(okyjace @ May 29 2019, 12:14 PM)
Can I get the experts view about airline miles earning. For local spending situations where only VISA is accepted, it appears that the Citibank Premier Miles card is now better. 2 miles for every MYR3 spend. I think overseas, MYR1 spending equivalent gives you 1 mile (5 TP), so Maybank is better.
*
QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ May 29 2019, 12:22 PM)
you are wrong...

Earn 1 PremierMile for every RM3 spent locally.

Earn 2 PremierMiles for every RM3 equivalent spent in foreign currencies and on selected online travel merchants below.

1,500 PremierMiles = 1,000 FFP Miles

Citibank Premier Miles
RM4,500 = 1,000 miles

MBB Visa Infinite
RM2,500 = 1,000 miles
*
Yeap that is why I converted to MBB VI and now my PM is just for local lounge access

Thanks to this post, I did another study and also asked around, based on my needs which I travel to China more often these days, I exchanged all my points to AM. AM was never in my consideration actually... However, thinking hard and still think it is a better choice for me. Redeem first and think later, at least I won't waste my TP, better than let it unattended. tongue.gif

Gotta start collecting points again. laugh.gif

Sap sap water for you la to accumulate again. biggrin.gif

Im hoping to get 3 tickets of biz class to either London or Melbourne by next year... Only barely 1 ticket now aihsss
