Plan spending then convert lo... Best to convert few days before the dateline la.. Maybe 23rd would be safe.

I had the same experience as you just last month. But mine was only USD0.17. Just called the CS and cancelled my card on the spot.

Dont worry, mostly if you informed them immediately, you wont have to bear that charge.

I just redeemed 3 biz class advantage tickets (Pen - Sydney 330k miles + RM1284 ) in September..

The previous one in May had to cancel and requested refund due to VISA delay approval lol

Cant remember 50% but i remember 15% recently before devaluation.

Can convert latest end of the month. Quite fast on Maybank side. Normally within 24 hours will reflect on KF account

I do it through call. Pretty fast.. normally within 24 hours can reflect. But due to the devaluation, better do it earlier since everyone is converting at the same time

Yea agree on redemption for kf is now mostly on waiting list for Biz class and above.. Unless you are redeeming economy xD

One is the exchange rate, another is that all foreign transaction gives us 5x TP so definitely only use VISA
