For us poorfags who are on M2U Gold cards, the loss of 5x for petrol hurts the most. If retail kena too, will flip table lol

Well, probably there are just too many categories to list out. So, in short whatever that it is not listed, it is not affected.

auditor job so easy.. just criticize other pipu work.. I admit, it was a badly done table.. but even I read it also can understand the table ..


visa/mastercards are not affected by the change.. they still remain 1x points, same as always, except for the 0 points for government transactions..

amex cards are affected. all now become 1xpoints, except government transactions which is also 0 points.



in summary, this card, be it visa, mastercard or amex is now the same value for certain types of transactions..


but amex still 5xpoints for overseas, dining, entertainment, electronics,etc..


wasn't too hard to comprehend the table..?

why want to add retail to the list also?? you want treatpoints cut on that too?..

How about the typo? American Express word was not mentioned in their first table for M2Cards.

not gonna argue that it was a terrible table.. but i think common sense tells u that the change only affects the Amex cards of the Maybank 2 cards.. visa/mastercard keep in drawer anyways.

My concern was whether it affected retail, telco and or overseas transactions, which clearly the table shows it doesnt..

so the card is still OK. Whereas people here are over-exaggerating.

Yes, I also agreed whatever not mentioned should be not affected.

I'm not affected because most of my swiped stuff are retail for my AmEx, mentioned since first day it was out.

Just that tak boleh tahan the table, it is very badly done. Decided to give them a wake up call.

So now utilities no more 5x? My bro will curse it gao gao if no more 5x. He already got like 200K points from paying few months utilities for our company.

Amex 5x. Visa 2x. So, Amex first. If the merchant doesn't accept Amex, this is when u use Visa.

Even before the revision, M2Cards Visa/MasterCard are pretty useless. I don't keep it in my wallet anymore, already long time stored and locked in drawer.

Visa is never 2x, all this while 1x only.

Silly me...I just use my Visa to pay my utilities this month. Gonna change to amex
