I also vy hard to understand the table for the new regulations?

Since I got both Visa and Amex for Maybank 2 cards, does that means it's the best to use only Amex? Visa should just keep it?
*
Amex 5x. Visa 2x. So, Amex first. If the merchant doesn't accept Amex, this is when u use Visa. smile.gif

I want to ask... If i use my CC on the due date itself.. Do i need to pay-off on that day?  Example my due date on 18may, i use my CC on that day..should i settle the payment on 18may to avoid interest?
*
Answer is no need. The due date is for those transactions that has been billed in your latest statement. For your transaction on 18may, it will be appeared in your next statement, let say 28may then u will need to pay it in full by due date 18june to avoid interest.

That mean due date on 18may for the transactions made until 28april (statement date)?

If i make transaction from 29april onward, so i need to pay-off before 18may to avoid interest?
*
Making it simple, once your transaction is billed in statement, then u have to pay by the due date stated in the statement. Else, wait until it appear in your next statement.

Means for transactions from 29apr onwards, it will appear in next month's statement, 28may. Then, due date should be 18june.

You don't need to worry much actually, just every month check statement, make full payment as stated in the statement by due date, then no interest will be charged.

Fixed at +1000 big points seems more like the reality of today's world, though I really hope it's not lol.

Guys, for the complimentary travel insurance coverage for m2c platinum, anybody know how's it work?

I have purchased the emirates flight tickets via this AMEX cards, so am I automatically entitle for this travel insurance? Do I need to submit/fill in any form for it? Or no need to do anything already, just claim if and only if anything happen.

Anybody claim this free insurance coverage before? will it be hard?
Based on the cert of this free insurance, the coverage items is limited, I am thinking to buy additional travel insurance to cover other items such as travel cancellation, travel curtailment... So, if i purchased other insurance as well, can I claim both place for those coverage which appear in both insurance? For eg, can I claim Luggage Delay from 2 insurance company?

Any advise? thanks

You no need to fill up any form. Just charge your air tickets to the card to qualify. So, you're covered. Claiming it is not hard, just like claiming for other travel insurance offered in the market. Ur dealing directly with the insurance company anyway.

From what I understand, if your luggage is delayed, u need to get a report slip from the airline & that's needed when you claim insurance. Means u only can claim from one insurance company.

I personally advise u to get a comprehensive travel insurance coz this free insurance coverage is very limited.
