Hi, treats point expiry is still 3 years right? I am a little curious because my statement has a column for points expiring in November and the card has only been with me for 6 months.

I've also noticed that many here keep M2 cards and Ikhwan card.

What are the benefits of using Ikhwan card besides the cash back? Do the points go to the same account as the M2 cards? AMEX 5x points are more worth it right? Unless AMEX can't be used, then it makes sense to use to Ikhwan card instead of the Visa and get the cash back.

M2Cards - AmEx only gives cash back for dining and during weekends.
Ikhwan MasterCard gives cash back for petrol and groceries on Fridays and Saturdays.

How is 5xTP more worth than 5% cash back? 5xTP only equals to 1.25%. smile.gif In addition, AmEx has revised its 5xTP entitlement, not every category gives 5xTP.

I have HLB MACH which gives dining cash back of 5% every day. I still have the AmEx though.

TP accounts are separated based on savings account and different cards. Meaning to say M2Cards and Ikhwan are calculated separately but all points (savings & cards) can be combined for redemption.

Nobody actually uses Ikhwan MasterCard for the sake of TP as it is just too pathetic to be mentioned...

KLCC no longer gives if I'm not mistaken. Gardens and 1U still give, at least I know Gardens had it when I wanted to apply Ikhwan last year.

Thanks for the detailed explanation fruitie! smile.gif

I think i will have to cancel some cards before applying for Ikhwan. I have HLB Essential Visa and Citibank MC as well, though i don't really use it.

As for Ikhwan, are there any limitation to which petrol station and groceries or it applies to all?

Ikhwan MasterCard discussion: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3763581
It applies to all petrol stations and groceries provided they are using the MCC. Please continue in the thread I quoted above. Thanks.

Yes, CVV and expiry date will change but that won't affect BT.
