QUOTE(Davidtcf @ Mar 18 2016, 10:27 PM) what's interchage fee revenue? charges to the merchant is it when a card is swipe? 1.8% still very low leh now reduce to 1.1%??? http://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...of-debit-cards/http://www.theborneopost.com/2016/03/18/ba...t-card-reforms/ What is interchange fee? Interchange fee is a fee payable between the merchant’s bank (also known as the “acquirer”) and the cardholder’s bank (also known as the “issuer”) in a payment card transaction. Interchange fee is typically payable by the acquirer to the issuer to compensate the issuer for certain costs incurred by the issuer in facilitating a payment card transaction. Interchange fee may also flow from the issuer to the acquirer to compensate acquirers for the cost of enabling payment card acceptance by merchants. What is merchant fee or merchant discount rate (MDR)? Merchant fee or MDR is a fee payable by a merchant to an acquirer for enabling the merchant to accept payment cards. What is the relationship between the interchange fee and the MDR? Interchange fee is incorporated into the MDR by the acquirer. Increases in the interchange fee would cause acquirers to raise the MDR. This post has been edited by DarReNz: Mar 22 2016, 08:58 AM |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Apr 7 2016, 07:23 PM) Ya logically, however, the discount for 7% from MBB card has already showing before key in, so I straight away booked from Agoda website i actually compare also but noticed that most of the hotels agoda already hike up the price RM10 or more when using 7% link ... but for me still cheaper ..... if you go to the original hotel website same price no discount at all |

QUOTE(herc @ Apr 8 2016, 01:49 PM) ok i check the website again it says either get RM55 or 5% cashback not both Get upsized Cashback of RM55 for each transaction (above USD50 order) when you make your booking between 12.01 am - 11.59pm every Wednesday. You will still get 5% Cashback for each transaction for bookings below USD50. Happy Wednesday! |

QUOTE(haru20 @ Apr 18 2016, 12:01 PM) Im still keeping this card, for 5% dining & 5x Treat points on retail purchases (Online purchases). As my points are still accumulating, once redeem will decide whether to continue keeping. if you have other cards that gives cashback for online transactions, you should use them instead Usually used my point on voucher and on-the-spot redeem purchases in shopping center. |
