QUOTE(TakoC @ May 8 2016, 09:56 PM) Bro, so with the declining in Ponzi 2 performance. Has some of the guys here change to other fund already? Not sure if this means much to you Haven't lurk around here in awhile. Hoping to get some update on some fund changes people make around here. FSM recommended portfolio switched from AmAsia Pac income to ponzi 2.0 last month http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/artic...FSM/A201605.pdf AmAsia Pac income performance is even worse than ponzi 2.0 |

QUOTE(river.sand @ May 10 2016, 07:51 AM) Looks ok to me. In times of volatility such as now, a greater exposure to fixed income instruments such as bond, REITs and dividend yielding stocks will outperform growth stocks.Funny this fund is never in my radar, perhaps its risk rating of 10 automatically algozen discard it. But looking at its three year average volatility, its risk rating should not be classify as ten. Strange why does FSM classify it as risk rating of ten (very high risk). Xuzen |

QUOTE(river.sand @ May 10 2016, 07:51 AM) Personally, it looks kind of rich to me (the value held ran up already high in terms of average Vs stand. dev.).BTW - i'm on PRS that feeds into this & trigger to top-up preferred is $0.6x or by end Oct 2016 heheh, for the tax relief & getting more properties-based assets ma, whichever comes first. + my sis' is invested too (cash), thus i'm looking at it on/off. Anyone can commend on REIT from the perspective of property market?
NAV growth of REIT comes from two factors: 1. rental income 2. fair value adjustment of properties No. 2 is likely to be muted in the next few years. Will the rental income be stable? |

Many moons ago I bought some REIT funds in FSM. Then I sold it off. I can't remember the reason. Was it because the risk rating is 10 for most REIT funds?

Just out of curiosity.
Fixed Income SC is 0% and intra switching is RM 25. If I am interested in a particular equity fund by fund manager XYZ, can I purchase that fund manager fixed income bond at 0% and then switch to the particular equity at RM 25 to avoid the 2% SC I'd have to pay otherwise if I bought it directly? Has anyone tried this before? |

Having a medium to high risk tolerance. I will try to go thru all the FSM thread and read thru them but at v14 i think it will take some time. hopefully i might picked up something useful in the discussion. |

People who have done that, their return is still positive. DCA = buy monthly regardless of price. |
