QUOTE(stevensys @ Apr 4 2016, 03:08 PM) Just back from Celcom ported out from Maxis Surfmore 50 to Celcom First Blue, can't wait the port to complete in 2-3days. also when i'm there another Maxis customer also asking to change to Celcom You've made the right decision for now. 2GB monthly quota with additional 500MB of data every weekend and comes with bundled calls/SMS for less than RM50 monthly. |

QUOTE(yewlin @ Apr 4 2016, 04:07 PM) Hi Guys, Celcom's supplementary line is not really worth it if you need data as each supp line is at RM30 monthly which comes with only 500MB data. For the supp line, better just let it be on a separate account and get the FIRST Blue at RM45 monthly which comes with 2GB monthly data and additional 500MB data every weekend.need your opinion...currently i am maxis user with 3 sup line, BUT due not happy with the package and pay more...i decided jump ship port to Celcom...ya Celcom...may i know any package Celcom is offer now for one main line and 3 sup line and with mobile data provided. thanks |

Perhaps they might just add another 2GB of data to their existing plans.
One Plan 98 - 3GB One Plan 128 - 5GB One Plan 158 - 7GB One Plan 188 - 9GB In Maxis' point of view: "You asked for more data and we delivered" This post has been edited by OKLY: Apr 5 2016, 12:37 PM |

QUOTE(9876789 @ Apr 5 2016, 07:37 PM) use DiGi Actually there's also a special plan from DiGi for East Malaysia customers.west malaysia and east malaysia same treatment. 7GB RM75 no commitment. celcom only 5GB + 5GB as far as i know. the 5GB is only available at weekends. http://www.soyacincau.com/2016/03/18/digi-...-malaysia-plan/ It's not available on DiGi's website but can enquire at the centres/dealers there. |

QUOTE(scfun @ Apr 6 2016, 01:40 PM) I'm seriously planning for porting out from Maxis! Can give Celcom a try.The reasons are not only being paying exorbitantly high monthly fees, Maxis also blocks p2p traffic on LTE/3G. The Maxis CS in 123 confirmed this is their "policy". Can someone share what other telcos that allow p2p traffic on LTE/3G so that I could make a better choice? |

QUOTE(wc_how @ Apr 6 2016, 06:57 PM) Probably this is the next new U Mobile. First step for them is to overtake U Mobile first within Klang Valley.Maxis must come up with something better now. This post has been edited by OKLY: Apr 6 2016, 07:00 PM |

Come to think of it, recently many people are paying the penalty to terminate contract and port out. Could it be that Maxis is using this opportunity to collect as much penalty fee as possible and probably launch their revised plans few months later?
From what I see, many people who want to port out are actually happy with Maxis' network quality but just frustrated with the pricing and all especially with the recent bad press against them. When they have better plans, I can still foresee people porting back to Maxis. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Apr 7 2016, 11:18 AM) few years ago, maxis hotlink is losing a lot of its customer to Digi and Celcom on the prepaid customers but postpaid customers doesn't lose that much. Few years back, Celcom's pricing was not that low. DiGi's pricing on the other hand was kinda competitive but their network quality was not that good back then. Things have change and Maxis needs a new strategy now and fast.but now the scenario is Maxis pissing off postpaid user by giving out double standard to its existing customer, it is a wrong business strategy and PR disaster for them this time. I remember 5-6 years ago Maxis is still the "taikor" in malaysia telco with 35-40% or more subscriber, now their total subscriber has drop to 30-35% and Celcom and Digi is not very far behind |
