Wow.. LYN staff is here.. Receive complain?

Maybe Morten is going to announce those plans available to everyone?

No, just joining the discussion.

It could be, making an apology and announcing revised plans. Or.... it could be another PR blunder. sweat.gif

will all of u port back to maxis now? haha.
*
I think they are maintaining the monthly fee but will give more data. So it'll still be more expensive.

Perhaps only their RM98 plan will be hot if it's really 5GB and people die die want to be on Maxis' network.

how about iValue Plan customer... sad.gif
*
Perhaps can convert to the nearest MaxisONE Plan? I believe some have successfully negotiated for that but it has to be a more expensive plan to be considered an "upgrade". I think I saw one comment about iValue RM155 successfully converted to MaxisONE 158.

seems to be limited to maxisone users, meaning u will still have to pay minimum 98 for 5gb data, surfmore 75 was 5gb for 75 only last time.
*
So just treat like you are paying additional RM23 for unlimited calls/SMS.

so is
1 to 3gb
3 to 5gb
5 to ??
8 to ??
*
Should be each plan will have upped by another 4GB, so if the plan originally had 1GB it'll now be 5GB.

QUOTE(HenryLow @ Apr 8 2016, 04:20 PM)
iValue1 (RM100) under contract can convert to MOP98?
*
Technically no because it is cheaper by RM2 which is a downgrade. like the iValue2 (RM155) to MOP158 should not be an issue as it is RM3 more expensive which is considered an upgrade.

QUOTE(-Y- @ Apr 8 2016, 04:28 PM)
yes, its an anti climax announcement. i was really intrigue to see if maxis really want to compete with celcom's plan. since celcom only the telco that can win overall (plan and coverage) but maxis really want big bucks to come every month. its a fail announcement. plus they said about fairness and so, but they wont revise sabah and sarawak plans which is much better than west's.
*
I was hoping to see at least a carry-forward unused data feature.

welcome to Malaysia..

East Malaysian is king  cool2.gif

East Malaysia rely a lot on their mobile data as the network infrastructure for wired broadband is not that good over there. Not surprising if telcos want to capture more market share over there.

EM = Maxis play price war to capture some share market

which is why im enjoying much faster n more stable connection on maxis lol.

celcom has the widest coverage but the connection especially the internet is erratic at best
*
Yes Celcom's network quality can be erratic when it comes to their data. Wide coverage good for calls/SMS though. I do hope that with the boost in revenue from the FIRST Gold plan, hopefully they will do something about their network.

Any way to highlight to Celcom to have similar plan as MaxisOne Share for their subline?

I will immediately switch over without 2nd thought~
*
I think in Celcom they don't really care about supplementary lines anymore since they have a decent entry-level plan which is the FIRST Blue.

That's one of the objectives though, to focus on MaxisONE plan instead of the older/legacy plans.
