I encountered something similar. Some SMS info services where Celcom will bill you for it. They said its some subscription by user, so they cannot stop it. So what i did was go to that SPAM SMS entry, and replied with 'STOP ALL'. Problem solved.

Got a call this afternoon, from the maxis CS with the following conversation:
Maxis CS: Hi good aft sir i am calling from maxis, and we are currently doing a promotion for you. We understand that you are currently on Maxis One plan with 3GB internet + unlimited calls and sms at monthly RM 128.
we would like to offer you a new package:
RM 158 (additional RM 30) and you will get 10 GB of data + unlimited calls and sms (contract another 24 months)
me: ok thanks for the offer, can you quickly check how much penalty i need to pay in order to terminate my current contract?
Maxis CS: errr..... RM 4xx.xx sir. are you sure u do not want to consider the new plan we offer?
Me: hello, ur competitor is offering something far more cheaper with better offer compare to ur company and now you asking me to top up another RM30 for u just to get 10GB and you still want to bind me to a contract? NO THANK YOU...

I've been a loyal Maxis customer and recently heard about this business ONE plan for RM98- 7GB+ 1GB free data for 6 months from a roadshow. Macam good deal.

Then my colleague told me digi memang already offering 7GB data for RM78 lol. Damn wtf.

Less than 2 hours until end of 7th april, still no news from maxis bout new plan. Late april fool joke?

Still under contract, no point in breaking contract for these few months, come May, bye bye.
