for the lucky first 800 were able to pre-order at US109
You can still get it for US139 early bird, only 500 units left.
Omron = ZULU GAMMA RGB switches
Omron is a Japanese company famous for making switches for almost all best gaming mouses around.
The switch looks good, it dose have a single stem in the middle instead it has 4 at the sides which allows for better LED lid, and i think it will most probably reduce the key wobble. cherry stems are weak and it wobbles from side to side soo much.
it has a short travel and actuation point which is my preference too.
100 million actuation man, that is double cherrys.
for US109-139 i think its great value
Cherry MX life only around 20million for tactile switches from the testing. 50 million only in linear Cherry MX.
Topre is ~30 million life before fatigue fail.
Well, many does claim their switches having longer lifespan also. Like Razer, 80 millions lifespan (cherry cloned). Now omron 100million.
Well, should I say Razer-Kailh and Omron push the engineering to prevent fatigue failure to another level ?

Note: Membrane only 10 million lifespan.
