Kg. Melayu? hmm.gif
Why not GS?
I tried the 1190. Lighter plus the adjustable suspension. Just not robust as GS. F800 is too small laugh.gif

I have found a common problem with V-strom from US forum... burn out stator coil after 30,000km... hmmm but these were isolated case because some owner reported mileage more than 100, 000 miles no problem. I like the current versys but I am thinking of getting something different... Love Suzuki V-twin sound but the accessories are too expensive compared to Kawasaki bikes. Thinking2  hmm.gif
*
Thats why bro Doom, better you get a bike which is easier to maintain and modify. I understand the need to be different. But for me, whats the point of being different but maintaining the difference will cost you lots of money ( ie. expensive parts for both maintenance and accessories ).

Consider the Versys. Relatively cheap maintenance, lots of accessories and good resale value.

I do traditional method, bring chains & solex. If go shopping mall I anchor my bike to a tree or something. Or if with a friend I anchor to his bike.

lol my bike compartment can't even fit my disc lock, no need to say chains doh.gif

hopefully no issue with first avenue (1Utama) parking.
So far so good as many riders in company never experience issue.

i also rarely bring the bike out for shopping mall/grocery, just bring a car instead, so much more convenient since i try to make a habit of wearing majority of my gear and that means a lot of inconvenience walking around like a robot doh.gif

Should have done it at 1000 km, unless you meant 700 miles.
Next service, according to the manual is 6000 km. But I changed oil half of that.
1k, 2.5k, 6k, 9k, 12k, 15k, 18k, my next one 24k. Skipped 21k since a bit out of budget. The bold ones are compulsory according to the manual.

Always try to park near guards if possible. Or next to a better and bigger motorcycle, their parts are always better and more expensive, so thieves will target them instead of you tongue.gif
