Versys for sure....spare part murah, nak lagi murah spare part, go to Hatyai. Accessories also way more than Vstrom. Resale value also better, since its more around.

QUOTE(DoomHammer @ Mar 9 2016, 05:07 PM) Another good point is that you are getting a touring bike. For sure you will be touring to Thailand as you want to go to the source of all the nice ladies in Chiang Mai. Geylang is too expensive. Repair and service is plentiful in Thailand. If you have a Suzuki, or a Triumph Tiger, service will be tough. Experience during Mae Hong Son trip.... one of our group Versys had a leaking fork. Went to Chiang Mai and did repairs. If other bikes tak tahulah...... |

So confusing Experience during Mae Hong Son trip.... one of our group Versys had a leaking fork. Went to Chiang Mai and did repairs. If other bikes tak tahulah...... Vstorm is CBU. One pakcik I met during learning B-full using it. According to him, he prefers it more than Versys. This post has been edited by RayKazansky: Mar 9 2016, 05:24 PM |

QUOTE(learnyee @ Mar 7 2016, 08:19 PM) well, it is unlikely they would try to load the bike away with 4x4, both the front and back tire is locked with disc lock, and the bike weight 250kg, you need at least a 1 ton lorry with those loading dock kinda thing to lift the bike. u belum see people carry these bikes easily with 2 or 3 people at mostload up on van and go |

So confusing Alamak....okay...bike categorisation for adventure/touring and so on; yeah you are right. Adventure is bikes that has some off road capability. Touring is purely on the black top. Vstorm is CBU. One pakcik I met during learning B-full using it. According to him, he prefers it more than Versys. Well, bikes is a personal decision. Some people buy a bike for the sound, some for its looks, some for the price, so on and so forth....I know in Europe the Vstrom is more popular than the Versys. Tepuk dada tanya selera dan poket jugak....Cheers.... |

Touring is purely on the black top. I have found a common problem with V-strom from US forum... burn out stator coil after 30,000km... hmmm but these were isolated case because some owner reported mileage more than 100, 000 miles no problem. I like the current versys but I am thinking of getting something different... Love Suzuki V-twin sound but the accessories are too expensive compared to Kawasaki bikes.
