Hi guys, I would like to review a bit of this Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 3gb/32gb rom Snapdragon 650 SoC.

Physical Built
- Very solid metal build
- Heavier than Xiaomi Mi3 & LG G4
- Fall on your toe will be a disaster.

Software
- MIUI rom is smooth, not much bloatware.
- Not perfect, got plenty of bugs, apps related. Need to restart to make some features/app working.
- Fingerprint unlock smooth, avoid using whatsapp popup msg, it will make fingerunlock not working.
- Can register multiple finger
- Using IR Blaster as remote is awesome feature I love like on LG G4, Zaza Remote.
- No NFC got no effect on me.
- Transition smooth enough, I think comparable to Mate 8.

Speaker
- Average performance
- Loud & clear

Camera
- Above average quality, good I'd say.
- Bad under low light
- Selfie camera nothing to brag.

Screen
- 5.5" is great for gaming, reading book.
- As sharp as mi3 & g4 at glance
- Not good under direct sunlight, no biggie.

Battery
- 4000mAh perform good, but not as good as Mate 8.
- Better than mi3 & g4 definitely.
- Take long time to fullcharge.

Overall
- Very good phone for the price, sub rm800.
- Good upgrade from Mi3, not as high as G4.
- I think I'm gonna keep this and ditch mi3 & g4.

Xiaomi got dedicated find my phone on Redmi Note 3.

For your fingerprint with whatsapp problem...i dont have so far. so...might be software or your phone software problem.

xiaomi cloud have this features.

Just received my Redmi Note 3 glass sp and case. The glass so so thin compared to nillkin, and most surprising is the cloth case. I thought it's hard case but who knows it's a soft case as well.

No wifi issue for me, yet no OTA update.

I've been using this phone since Saturday.
I did not encounter any wifi issue.
In fact I feel the wifi signal is stronger than my old phone (Galaxy S3).

my whatsapp i install in default setting, so pop up msg is on as default. i dont have anyproblem. fingerprint works well then i can read my whatsapp msg dy
