personally not fond of trapo mats.
my wife bought into the hype, and now a wee bit regret as they are very overrated classic rubber mats lol.
you're paying for the hype/trendy and marketing.
personally, i hate how exposed the dirt/sand are, and if your phone happen to fall on to the mat, and on the glass side, prepare to get a very dirty phone screen.
I'm using Trapo Classic, it is quite pricey and doesn't really feel worth when you held it, it is really light, feels like it is just made from some cheap foam.
But apart from that, I guess the main selling point for this mat is that it's really easy to clean compared to my past experience with coil mats and factory stock mats.
Whenever i wash coil mats, always there will be hairs got stuck with the coil fiber and small stones somehow got caught in it, need to dig it out with hands and really having hard time to wash it.
As for factory stock carpet, it doesn't holds small stones/sands in place, often the sands will just roll off the carpet, when your shoe is wet, oh boy, carpet just soaks right up and often i will need to spend quite a long time scrubbing off harden dirt from the carpet.
Trapo, IMO, easiest to clean, don't really need to scrub long to get off the dirt, and most of the time when i saw some sands/stones accumulated, i just remove it out from the car and just shake it off for a few seconds, don't need to dig out the sands/stones. Oh yeah and most importantly, really fast to dry up after washing with water, i just leave it indoor by the window, even though without direct sunlight it will just dry up after 1 day, the hardest part to dry up is just the edge as it is cloth material.
