If you have high pressure washer such like Karcher, Bosch etc, you may just need wet out your car by shoot out the dirt and dust from your car with the washer gun first before you proceed to foam the car with shampoo. High pressure washer can help reduce swirls and fine scratches and it is better than wash with the garden type pressure spray nozzle.

alrighty then - i am using the Karcher K5 smile.gif

😅 cost wise should stillllllllll be fine.

i'll most probably be going for the Osren Nano Wash. Is it a decent brand?

Can't find much information on it though 🤔

need help.

not sure what i did inaccurately but everytime i washed my MF cloth, they all came out flat and rough, it looks like most of the fibres are flat dead after they are dried. i washed them separately using the laundry detergent i used for my clothes and in warm water - they do feel fluffy when wet though.

:sigh:

How did you dry them? Don't dry them under the sun and try not to use dryer to be safe, because heat will melt the fibres and make them hard and unable to absorb liquid.
*
hand washed them and hung them to dry on the towel rack inside my toilet =/

Hmm. Doesn't sound like you did anything to damage them. The detergent you used is normal detergent without softeners right? Do they still absorb water fine? (After you have washed and dry them)
*
yeap, normal liquid detergent (dynamo).

they absorb water just fine but i just couldn't get them back to its original fluffy state like how it was when i purchased them. a bit annoyed.

sad.

Is that a product defect?

My microfiber towel even the very first one, 10 year plus, I'm still using it. Last time i don't know microfiber towel cannot wash above 40 DEG C and dry under hot sun, through many years of torture, it is still fine  laugh.gif
*
nope, not a defect. it work great before i hand washed them.

For my best suggestion, if you really can afford. If want to save time, the best option is go for front load washing machine. Top load washing machine is too dangerous because they spin the microfiber towels in whole drum of water. Microfiber towel in water is getting heavier, when top load washing machine keep spinning its drum then the microfiber towels keep pulling and tearing in the water. Front load washing machine is much safer, they just roll and spray water to wash your microfiber towels. I wash with the original Dynamo concentrated detergent, not the downy, not the color care, not the anti-bacteria version.

You need to buy a dryer machine too. Dryer machine not just use to dry your microfiber towel but also gives convenience for drying your daily clothes. Some dryer can set temperature, for example, like I'm using Midea MD-6288 dryer machine. I just need to set to "airing" mode. The higher temperature options are "delicates" and "normal" mode. Airing is the lowest temperature, I guess is around 40'c. Running airing mode for one time process is hard to get all the microfiber towel dry, so I have to do 2-3 time runs.

After 2-3 times run of drying process with my dryer machine. My microfiber towels will get back its softness and ready to use.
*
haha... i don't think so i will buy a separate washing machine just to wash my MF cloths sweat.gif besides, I prefer to hand wash them because it's usually 2 or 3 pieces only at one time so putting them into a washing machine may not be exactly environmental friendly brows.gif

i have a dryer but i fear it may "burn" the fibres because although my machine has "airing" mode but i cannot exactly see the temperature that's being conducted. perhaps i'll try it on my next wash.

Thanks for the tip!!!

Nice beads! So I guess you are quite a gentle driver ehh tongue.gif normally if a light drizzle.. and when enter covered parking lot when brake sometimes the water flows to the front haha!
*
biggrin.gif meticulous observation!

yeah, i considered myself to be very light-footed, be it the brake or the accelerator but i guess that cannot be helped. 4 years of driving a Honda Accord has helped nurtured me to be a very "uncle" driver.

Go for it if you prefer having a 'dry coat' on our tyres.

Mine has been coated with Black2 for almost a year now. There's a hard coat on all 4 tyres but the shine is there. It's not super glossy but it's super long lasting. Rain/dirt just goes off easily with a decent spray.

I usually recoat about once a month.

thanks for the picture!

i'm currently using the complimentary Magic101 tyre shine that came free with the car shampoo and i find it a little bit too glossy to my liking, kind of hate it sometimes (reminds me of this)

Attached Image

but i hate it more when the tires look pale and dull when the car is squeaky clean and shiny - so unsatisfying dry.gif want to apply something that makes it look dark and "clean".

is it difficult to apply, this BlackBlack thing.

Still holding up the same as day 1 apply. Maybe i doesnt drive that car that much. I like the shine though. Its not as shiny as those applied in petrol station carwash.
*
hmm.gif it does sound like what i'm looking for *itchy heart*

is it difficult to apply or just squeeze and spread?

Osren Tire Shine LV might be suitable for you.
*
Osren's products are great for its price point but the only downside is i think for the tire shine, the smallest size is 4litre blink.gif that's too much for me.

Yup i like the shine too. The shine is not as shiny and glossy from carwash.  biggrin.gif

as easy as normal tyre gel/wax. I will stick to this too for tyre shine product.
*
i think i will try this product after i finished up all the remaining Magic101 tyre shine that i have - still have like 3 bottles sitting inside the shelf!

Haha that's a heckload of Magic 101 items bro. laugh.gif

Anyways to answer your earlier query on the Black Black application.

It's not so difficult to apply. Just use the provided applicator and gloves if needed. Try not to splash any product onto your fingers cos it's very sticky and residue is lile sticky glue/elephant glue. I've gotten use to it after many tries so I tend to ignore the gloves and just apply a line or two onto the applicator before spreading it over the tyres.
*
lol.gif yeah.

i seldom apply shine to the tires and the free tire shine comes whenever we purchased the car shampoo but no longer because my family and i switched car shampoo brands.

will take note on the tips during application icon_rolleyes.gif
