But if u scare anything shit happen and wish to have support, so far OSREN malaysia provide the best offer to newbie , their price isnt the cheapest at market but their support is super nice !!! Their machine not super expensive la just abit higher rm50+-

Another option which is slightly exp a little which is shinemate

any particular model or make on aliexpress?

What is ur budget first bro biggrin.gif

1 thing i must let u know ah , 1 machine normally can't really polish out whole car , the best combo stil a MINI Rotary or Mini DA + a Large throw DA 8/15/21mm

if let me to choose again as a home detailer and i don mind the vibration , i will get the 8mm DA anytime + a 3inch backing plate , so i will have 2 function in 1 machine , i believe alot will say 3inch backing plate on 8mm DA is even more vibrate , or 8mm DA is so louder compared to the rupes copy , but as a home detailer u won't polish car every day , u will only focus mostly ur car or ur family car , and i believe Full PAINT correction u will only do on your own car because if u doing for your parent car , they end up give bangla to wash and all the scratch and swirl will come back within a month , so it not a big deal seriously , unless u going professional which everyday need to hold and polish customer vehicle , then that different story biggrin.gif Parent car mostly just using AIO , go 1 pass then gao tim already laugh.gif

this combo can cover almost 90-95% of your car smile.gif

U must take note what blurcase sifu say , must must must check with them for the socket and 230v , returning the parcel isnt cheap , if really scare shit happen , spend more abit buy at local store will be best choice

Cool, thanks for explanation.
I am hoping to find one around 500.
*
If rm500 then u have to option for china machine, u plan to use it alone?

For my case, im actually sharing the machine half with my friend hehe, so we can afford 2 machine at the same time, because i wont be using it alone with every day correction, so now he joined me and we share half2 to detail our own car , sharing can save alot of money hehe

I think if u stay in KL, just go osren kepong i believe they can guide u and let u try the machine b4 u buy it, do pm them thru facebook OSREN , henry is super helpful person

Fantastic! I stay in Kepong too.

Then i think u better get from them, i believe it around rm700++ for the 8mm machine with 6 month warranty, and henry told b4 if machine got any problem they able to repair in future too , better ask first , spending a little bit to have peace of mind is better, at least u got anything happen on machine just drive go osren office only

I get my clover 15mm from a malaysia seller, say the package have 1 machine , 1 5inch backing plate , 1 6 inch backing plate and 4 pad, end up send me 1 5inch backing + 2 pad only , quickly pm him then he say send over for me again , end up only received another 2 pad without the 6inch back plate , i also lazy pm him again le , he do give me 6 month warranty , but the machine resit just using hand bill, i not sure if shit happen he do really actually cover up the warranty or not haizzz, hope my machine nothing happen within this few year

The only one that I know of that some local car wash that claim chemical wash is using diesel or kerosene. It is definitely effective in removing tree sap and tar spots, but the safety aspect is highly debated among detailers. Some say that diesel can potentially dull paint, some say that its safe so long as it doesnt sit and dry on the paint. There is no firm answer on its safety on car paint unfortunately.

There are also now car wash products in other countries where the wash soap is aggressive enough to remove all forms of stubborn dirt, and this is commonly used to wash lorries and commercial vehicles. I not sure if the product have been brought here to be used.

However, the biggest known issue with any of these aggressive soap wash or chemical wash is it will most likely strip most forms of sealant/wax applied, and probably damage coating as well. This is the biggest reason why many detailers do not prefer any form of aggressive soaps and chemical washes as it then wastes their applied protection products. Just my 2 sen.

how you guys wash the micro fiber towel and pad? thx
*
Recently all my 6pcs osren yellow buffing towel get lint , very sad because when wipe off comp and polish residue and my surface all get lint , lesson learn, dont mix microfiber with other cloth when wash , sifu blurcase teach me to use washing bag to avoid some lint, stil hand wash will be the best , so my 6 pcs mf have to be use for only interior and wheel , get another 6pcs new towel and using hand wash, soap with water and let the mf sit overnight , then rinse with water next day , clean , nice , no more lint , happy to buff off polishing , lint can be very annoying when u checking ur paint work during paint correction progress T_T

Well, except for stone-chips. With the lack of enforcements, many lorries on the road are very dirty and are potential hazards. Stones, sands, rocks are common enemies to our cars. Poor roads conditions do not help either. Loose gravels are almost on every road. So no matter how much we care, how much we polish, we could not avoid stone chips. Not even coating. Some said clear bra might help but I don't find it very popular here. Here is more of a coating hype craze. Almost every tom. dick, harry (no offense) is offering coating here...
*
That true, stone chip really cant avoid, just can close 1 eyes only

That's true, went to my friend's house to check out his dad's E300, the amount of stone chips on it after just 1.5 year is painful to see.

Well, mainly because clear bra/ppf is another level of expensive? sweat.gif
Not sure about partial (front only) ppf, but AutoDetailer Studio is offering them at RM1x,xxx. That's way out of league for many people though, and not that logic when the ppf cost like 1/10 of the car. That's probably why it's only common for those people owning exotic cars. *but I am aware some shops offering coating service that cost almost like that figure

True also, so many unknown brand of coatings and there's no real enforcement on who can apply it and etc. And if dig hard enough you'll see some shops hiring foreign workers to "detail" the car. *includes Rxgxx Vxxxt, you can actually see in one of autxbxzz video hmm.gif

*disclaimer, go figure the xx by yourself, don't want mention full name. Scared later get in trouble, who knows if they stumble upon this post.  sweat.gif
*
If the condition really bad , then have to respray the panel, but after 1.5 year they come back again haha

If they could train well foreign worker its ok actually, no matter chinese, malay, india, as long as they train well then should be okey, sometime need to see the tauke of the shop how to control their worker quality
