Quick one... Can I use this to dilute with water to make it suitable for surface cleaning after polish? If so what's the ideal mixture?

Got this stains dunno what it is but unable to remove with polish but have not try compound cos I don't have compound in my mini arsenal. One can feel it when touching the spot.

Any idea how to remove?

Hmm, looks like a very troublesome stain.
Not sure if you can apply compound to remove it - is there any way you can try to whittle down that stain to at least paint level? Like using something like stain remover and let the product dwell a bit before loosening up and being able to remove it.

My parents' cars also have some marks that look like wall paint which has hardened on the paint and doesn't come out despite washes and polishing.

Tried swirl remover without success. One door panel has plenty of itπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I see, like the earlier suggestion, you can try those bug/tar remover to agitate and potentially loosen the dirt.

Only once able to 'lift' it off the paint, then maybe can use swirl remover to tackle those stains.

Btw, out of curiosity, do you have any clue how those stains came about? Is it like hardened concrete/cement?

OK bought these
Tried the degreser, failed. Then try PG, SUCCESS! WILL take a photo tomorrow

Glad it worked out! Make sure to clean the area thoroughly after using tar remover and apply paint protection product after that!
*
Yup, thanks all for reminding abt tar remover

The Simple Green Motorsport is a great degreaser. Not too powderful, not too weak, just nice for me.

I tried washing engine bay but little improvement maybe I didn't use proper brush to agitate the dirt

PS: lots of tiny stone chip on Japanese soft paint then again it's an old ride

I think I'll get TW SNS due to the price (RM80) roughly 40% cheaper than TW Hybrid ceramic coating (RM113). Also due to the fact that I will be spraying every 3-4 washes to maintaain the gloss hmm.gif

Am long term user of SnS and can vouch it can lasts more than 3 mths with weekly washes parked outside 24/7

Thanks for the feedback. Is the glossiness/wet look still there after 1-2 months?
*
QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Oct 16 2020, 02:06 PM)
seriously? 1 application and last for 3 months?
*
Yes gloss and wet look still there incl beading after 3 months. I do clay once a year with PG 2 claybar I think before applying

The Amazon link in the video provides a good bargain provided you buy in bulk eg 6 bottles since shipping is expensive. Do note previous purchase Amazon refunded import tax a month later

Am happy to buy 2 from you if you're buying bulk from Amazon cos It'll be cheaper than buying from local LzD etc

Waiting for the improved S&S to arrive. Just took the plunge. brows.gif

Seems I'll just hold off from restocking Meg's HCW just yet as I try to diversify my detailing coverage to test new items. laugh.gif

Give feedback for Osren coating, want to try but seems they price is quite expensive,Β  i rather invest in more reputable brands

It is slightly cheaper than Turtle SnS but am interested in how long it holds up

I've used my last bit SnS to top up on 2 cars (only clay the roof and front/rear bonnet) this morning in anticipation of rainy days ahead

Long weekend so decided to clean up the black color ride. Clay and polished with TW Ceramic Polish & Wax paired with microfiber pad using DA. I'm very satisfied with the pad on a single "pass" and getting rid of a lot of swirl without compounding. Any problem and improvement adv? Thanks

Await TW Ceramic Spray to arrive and complete it...

Not particularly impressed with sio2, perhaps really do need lsp or an extra spray

Beading after rain is bad if just park afterwards

What spray did you used?

What sort of MF pad u using? If u willing to give it a 2nd round, use a finishing foam pad and the color should pop.
