1st time detail engine bay . just simply clean with apc then apply carpro perl. dont know perl can withstanf the engine heat not? what u guys using actually?

Hmm, looks like a very troublesome stain.
Not sure if you can apply compound to remove it - is there any way you can try to whittle down that stain to at least paint level? Like using something like stain remover and let the product dwell a bit before loosening up and being able to remove it.

My parents' cars also have some marks that look like wall paint which has hardened on the paint and doesn't come out despite washes and polishing.

Have you tried tar remover?

I see, like the earlier suggestion, you can try those bug/tar remover to agitate and potentially loosen the dirt.

Only once able to 'lift' it off the paint, then maybe can use swirl remover to tackle those stains.

Btw, out of curiosity, do you have any clue how those stains came about? Is it like hardened concrete/cement?

Glad it worked out! Make sure to clean the area thoroughly after using tar remover and apply paint protection product after that!

The Simple Green Motorsport is a great degreaser. Not too powderful, not too weak, just nice for me.

I think I'll get TW SNS due to the price (RM80) roughly 40% cheaper than TW Hybrid ceramic coating (RM113). Also due to the fact that I will be spraying every 3-4 washes to maintaain the gloss

What sort of MF pad u using? If u willing to give it a 2nd round, use a finishing foam pad and the color should pop.
