what is the real appeal of a wireless charger? i don't really get it since your phone is still stuck in a position.
like if you're in a room with wi-fi and the wi-fi charges your phone then i understand la |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 9 2016, 07:55 AM) I would say only gamers are interested in benchmark scores Those gamers should just buy a real console. PS4 or XBox one.I don't play any serious games on my phones n such doesn't matter to me at all Infact in day to day use my LG V10 with is SD808 processor is as good if not better than my other Nexus 6P ( planning to sell off). Even my Mate 8 with its way much superior benchmarks over Nexus 6P I don't see any significant difference either except possibly some app load faster. But than the faster loading is seriously unnoticeable by most users |

QUOTE(i am number 2 @ Mar 9 2016, 10:08 AM) I never used a Samsung edge series phone before, may I know that if I replace the touchwiz with a third party launcher such as Nova, will the default functions in the phone such as edge apps still work? yes, using action launcher on my S6E atm, and the edge functionality still there |

QUOTE(LJones @ Mar 9 2016, 10:15 AM) what is the real appeal of a wireless charger? i don't really get it since your phone is still stuck in a position. I have tried the wireless charging with my old Lumia 830. like if you're in a room with wi-fi and the wi-fi charges your phone then i understand la During charging the phone gets very hot. Never used it ever since as I'm worried it'll damage the phone. This post has been edited by alvin ong: Mar 9 2016, 10:29 AM |

Let say u have a call or u are messaging with ppl while charging it phones, or even playing game or surfing net.. U have to keep ur phone on the plate all the times while doing these things. I'm not sure about the battery life by using the phone while charging. And aren't we advised not to use the phone while charging? Something to do with battery life etc? Honest question. |

Haha...it saves u from one action (plug in cable to charge phone, or unplug it when it's done) with the cost of a wireless charging plate =PAnyway, not bashing those who own or buying the wireless charging plate, maybe u guys find it useful in another way. Cheer |

The inly wirelss charging port that make sense is the one made for s7 edge.
The standing wirelss charger that also work as a clock with Always On display. Problem is. It is more than rm220 and for rm80 i can get a good digital clock from Sony. And wired charging cable is rm5.30 from daiso. But i am a cheapskate so dont flame me please |

i think mainly people prefer wireless charging due to less risk of damaging the port? because i noticed for certain phones the port will be loosen after some time
