Yeah I went from S3 to Z1... mainly because of the cheap plastics and TouchWiz was really getting on my nerves that time. Then after Z1 sony was not playing nice anymore, Z2 was fine but I don't see the need to upgrade yet, the rest come out all didn't impress me. Z5 was ok but after I tried S7 edge I was impressed with how much samsung had improved, decide to give them another chance.

I just fully charged my batt to 100%, will post battery life tomorrow once I hit 10% or below.

I also replaced touchwiz launcher with nova prime.... I just dont like the placement of the app drawer on the left I do like the downloaded themes, at least some sort of customisation option compared to last time

Those who still claims that touchwiz is slow and laggy have not tried the latest models and tw yet. To me, starting from S5 on lollipop, tw has improved vastly. To those still using their S2 and s3, its time to change. You are using a very dated 4-5 year old phone and dare claim all touchwiz are laggy and slow? Dont be the laughing stock of forummers here.

Apps Edge can be placed on left side? Im right handed but duno wats wrong im used to operate phone using left hand. maybe right hand can do other job when watching corn.

S6E has one of the worst battery life amongst all the Androids I had used. In operation it heats up easily too
If S7E battery life is worser even with a bigger battery capacity Samsung can closed shop already
Anyway most reviews I read report positively on battery life. I will only trust my own assessment after using the phone

phonearena battery testing always known to be a bit flawed. I'll believe anandtech more, or even gsmarena, better still get real feedbacks from users at forums like androidcentral and xda.

I've read some claimed that the Exynos variant is supposed to do better at battery life compared to the SD... time will tell

I haven't fully go through or utilise the edge screen yet.... still trying to think what shortcut I should throw in

battery life is subjective. also, remember the S7E has 2 variants. which variant did both of these journalist sites reviewed?

I never used a Samsung edge series phone before, may I know that if I replace the touchwiz with a third party launcher such as Nova, will the default functions in the phone such as edge apps still work?
