It happens that my honda has a 12v cigar lighter power source there...
Juz stick to the middle of the back windshield and there it goes...but kinda blocking the rear view but still bearable.
I see. My car has a cigarette lighter power socket at the rear too, but it's near the center console, i.e. where the driver's left hand handrest is...near the ashtray. Quite a distance from there to the rear windshield

Guys, is there any specific angle or how far the dashcam should be set from the windscreen to get maximum recording quality?
This is my first recording, but does not look sharp enough. Looking at the number plate unless it is really close. Skip to 1:36
Firmware version: V-1.03.026 flashed from CN to US.
I would lower the angle a bit to record my bonnet instead of seeing so much sky. If you view your video, seeing too much sky makes the video a little distorted and cause giddiness. In addition, with such high angle, you might record very dark traffic videos if you are facing the sun in the evening time. You install the cam to record traffic, not UFOs, right?
How to change the focus lense? Can't find the option
Is not "mushigen" already give you idea? "I would lower the angle a bit to record my bonnet instead of seeing so much sky. Instead of the Camera Len set on 45 degree, try move to 50 or lower bit...Lot different especially night time.
