Can't quite get what you mean.

Lose the casing = no need casing? hmm.gif

And for HDD, since you never specify the total number you need, I will just include 1 x 4TB HDD first.

I assume you have DDR4 RAM to re-use and your PSU is capable to run these parts since you didn't list out your current system specs.

Looking for graphic card below <RM500 which one is okay for my build. >RM500 is too much for me.
As for suggestion from this thread, GTX750TI is recommended. but the price is slightly >RM500 already. Any card slightly lower price than GTX750TI but the performance is on par with GTX750TI? AMD card is also acceptable. How about R7 250X Vapor?

Does GTX980 worth the price ? Coz some ppl said that it is much better to get GTX970 as their differences are only in Cuda Cores (correct me if I'm wrong) I mean my friend want to build a high end rig for his work and games, but still hesitating to cash out his money for GTX980Ti, should he keep his money for GTX980Ti or just get a GTX980/970
*
By looking at the current price of GTX980 (around RM 2.3k+/-), it is totally not worth to invest on it, R9 390X which is few hundred cheaper than GTX980 is more worth in value and it is faster than GTX980 too.

I would suggest your friend to get GTX970/R9 390 for now and upgrade to GTX1000 series in Q3 when it gets released here brows.gif

I see, but still, we're using softwares that'll utilize Cuda Cores, so if he cant wait for GTX1000 series, he can just go for GTX970 right ?

BTW, when is Q3 ?  sweat.gif  Is it around August and September ? From your experiences, if a new series of GPU released, does the price of the older generation drastically drop ? or just a little changes ? If the price differences are huge, ill ask him to wait until Q3
*
Yep if cannot wait then I suggest to pick GTX970 at the moment, Q3 is third quarter, which ranges from July to September, Nvidia said they will announce consumer based GTX1000 series GPU in the upcoming Computex 2016 in Taipei, shipment will begin in early July so I guess by the time the stocks reach here, it should be end of July or early of August.

Price didn't change drastically for 700 series last time but they were phased out quick rapidly once Maxwell 900 series took over, but things might change this time depending on the improvements of Pascal cards.

It depends on the model you get, I checked the specs of your case, if you didn't install the HDD cage then it is able to fit any GPU up to 400mm long.

I don't see any sleeved cable listed on their lelong account, you can ask them directly yourself, market price is around RM 100+/-.

As for monitor, if you only want cheap 1080p monitor (< RM 500), plenty of choices you can make, BenQ GW2270, AOC M2470SWH etc.

If you want high end/high frequency monitor then look for Dell UltraSharp series like U2417H (high end IPS), BenQ XL2411Z, Acer XB240H (high frequency), price is > 1k.

If you want to go beyond 1080p, prepare at least 1.5k alone just for the monitor, QHD isn't cheap.

Terence_nwb,

few days ago you also recommended me Kingston HyperX Fury 120SSD.

May I know the main difference between Kingston and Samsung 850 SSD ?

Dont know how to decide for SSD.
*
Price.

Any SSD is fast enough for you to feel the difference between SSD and HDD.

If you want a more "premium" brand then go for Samsung, otherwise Kingston should be enough, their internal components (NAND, controller) are different too but very hard to notice the difference in real life usage unless you benchmark them.
