I'm going to Tokyo later this year, too, but on a more... permanent basis. Thus, I believe it is time for me to put a closure to this expensive hobby of mine, and excepting some figures, I'll most likely be letting go of a large part of my collection later. Gonna need that extra money for sure.


This, and my 20+ parcels containing a mixture of light novels and, um, "health magazines" from Toranoana getting the greenlight (not one of them gets stopped) just increases the feeling that one of these days, one of us're gonna get the spotlight for importing bahan lucah.

I'm gonna have to sort out my figures, think which ones to let go and which ones to keep (my Native and Soukou Akki Muramasa figures are ones for sure to be kept) and to find out the prices for the current market.

Won't be anytime soon though, and probably some deals I might have to do while I'm there. I did thought of selling my figures at Mandarake or Yahoo auction, but I believe foreigners aren't allowed to participate in the official second-hand market there.

Did thought of the proxy business, but I think it'll diminish my enjoyment of my time there. I'll think about it though, if there are requests, or if it's something totally not out of the way, or if it's something that overlaps with my interest and can get multiple units of.

KC has the item in their product page for a magical RM475 when she goes for an average 8200yen in Japanese sites. I think they want to prevent other local sites from getting hold of this product from GSC as the distributor. KC wants sole distribution rights for it. Just boycott KC la, easy.
