Its a el cheapo Motorola CDR series Compatible duplexer. Have the same mounting as the much move expensive celwave series.

At USD50 expect an insertion loss of  shakehead.gif errr dunno.

yesterday again i heard over the air this phrase :

" Belum qso di jaluran. Selalu hanya qso di simpleks"

what is jaluran? what is simplek? isn't it is the same? both r using frequency... or that fella should say " belum qso di repeater." Actually i heard this alot of time on what ever frequency. whether simplex or repeater... can some1 explain. cool2.gif rolleyes.gif

well actually i didn't ask bout the using of q code.. just confuse by the term jaluran n simplek. as to my understanding both r communication through the frequency.

as for the digital modes... i also realize that in our AA the is no digital mode class of emission allowed in 9w AA.. but not sure for the 9M aa.. i just want to start. was going to buy the gps reciever n the tracker... hehehe...

May I know what is Amateur Radio?
*
Amateur radio, often called ham radio, is both a hobby and a service in which participants, called "hams," use various types of radio communications equipment to communicate with other radio amateurs for public service, recreation and self-training.[1]

Amateur radio operators enjoy personal (and often worldwide) wireless communications with each other and are able to support their communities with emergency and disaster communications if necessary, while increasing their personal knowledge of electronics and radio theory. An estimated six million people throughout the world are regularly involved with amateur radio.[2]

The term "amateur" reflects the principle that Amateur Radio and its skilled operators are committed to helping communities without financial compensation; whereas Commercial Radio operates for profit.
