i have both in my rig...

evercool on intake and exhaust

vizo on my ifx

theyre both about the same actually....

and imho the fans arent really that silent.....but id go with the evercool...the extra weight will help reduce vibrations.

guys...need to ask about the Xigmatek fan (black frame, red blades, white LED)

for 120mm
compared to Vizo UV LED fan, which is quieter? what about airflow?

for 80mm
compared to CM 80mm black fan, which is quieter?

anyone here using vizo windstorm?

http://www.vizo.com.tw/front/product/get_p...ct_detail/19/3#

just need some feedbacks  smile.gif

wat kinda feedback u looking for???

it pushes alot of air and its ridiculously loud...

may or may not work with fan controllers (might burn ur fan controller if the fan controller cant withstand the fan's amp rating)

may or may not work with 5v

can u guys recommend me the fan settings for CM690? thx
*
just use the stock settings is good enough...no need to reverse or watever...

except the side panel fan...if u have a GC that produces alot of heat... turn it to exhaust warm air from the GC

QUOTE(168257061 @ Oct 27 2008, 12:45 AM)
hey , any body can recommend me a good 80mm fan. performance brand like panaflo , nmb , sanyo are preferable.

the fan blade must be strong enough. damn f*** both my panaflo fan fin broken when hit the ram heat sink.. damn it. rm40 was wasted as rm20 each doh.gif

now I just need 1. damn , any good recommendation ? 28~32dB is ok to me smile.gif
*
the only 80mm fan i would look at is the CM UV Silent fans.... theyre pretty quiet but dont really push that much air....

2) Moved Yellow wire (12v) to Red slot
*
doh.gif

ur running on 5v ler....

the color of the wire does not determine the voltage u know....

put it back to where its supposed to be.... then plug into ur adapter. i take it ur adapter is the female molex wan right?

true... but if u put a 12v cable at a 5v connection...the voltage will still be 5v.. and thats what u did...

try it with ur PSU... ull see that the yellow cable will connect to the red cable.. meaning getting 5v n ur fan should be slow...

put it back where it originally is and ull see that itll be yelllow+yellow=12v and fan will run properly....

once it runs properly on ur PSU.. plug into ur adapter and try... if it doesnt work at 12v then i cant really say why..mebbe the adapter doesnt have enough amperage (although i doubt it) or it needs to have a load on its 5v connection to be able to run...

then its a problem with ur adapter.. like i said..its possible that it needs a load on the 5v line to work...

so right now ur fan is running on 5v lor...

if u really need fans outside ur case.....then mebbe get a chapalang PSU and jump the green n black cables and plug ur fan into it.
