of course i did.... im using it in my HTPC. and used to run it in my main rig oso. its good enough to keep my S64 2500+ and A64 2800+ cool.

noise wise... as typical as a stock AMD cooler lor

EDIT: wait a minute...something just occured to me....is the s754 & s939 AMD cooler fans 60mm or 70mm? if im not mistaken theyre 70mm right? if theyre 70mm then most likely the 60mm cablesguy posted never used before laugh.gif

my oh my oh my oh my oh my.... lookie lookie what i just found...

a retail fan controller than can officially support the Delta FFB AND the Delta TFB rclxm9.gif FINALLY!!! i think this is the first commercial fan controller to official state that they can support the FFBs.

http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/sirh25wa.html

but then basically its just a high powered rheostat...basically if we can find that rheostat here we can DIY our own oso wink.gif

why mod for 2*80mm fan? should have done it for 2*120mm fans. more silent and more airflow

i find 80mm fans noisy ler....even the silent ones...had to run my CM silent 80mm fan @ 7v just to be able to tolerate the noise.

tools u need...

spare PCI slot cover + 2x cable ties.

use the cable ties and tie the fan to the PCI slot cover.... then screw the pci slot cover to the pci slot and ur done biggrin.gif

i did this with a 60mm fan.....

120mm fan might be a little harder seeing how its bigger... but try it out first and see if it works..

Im using Evercool 120mm and 80mm fan..i feel that its powerful and silent at the same time. Btw it pumps for 100++ cfm for 120mm and 80++cfm for 80mm ones. Im thinking to get a few more  rclxms.gif . Where to get?  drool.gif  hmm.gif
*
u do realize that evercool has more than 1 model of fans right??

which model u talking about?

and 80+cfm for the 80mm?? r u sure??? i think u read the specs wrongly...

coz even the 80mm Delta FFB0812EHE pushed 80+ cfm and its nowhere near silent. one of the loudest fans on earth....something like the vizo windstorm.
