All of them are more or less the same smile.gif If you want something easy to apply then get the MX-4 but if you prefer another 0.xx C like the review says (which I'm not even sure if it's true), get the TX-4. Just a side note, Tuniq copied Arctic's formula and they have a lawsuit going in the EU so I'm not sure how can a copy cat product be better than the original Arctic made formula.

No ideas smile.gif I'm just sharing what I know (informational purposes). It's unfortunate that we have never ending silly fools in LY.net which spams all over the place with nothing good to say biggrin.gif

hi all, any recommendation fan for elite 430 casing?

it has 2 12cm intake (1 x front, 1 x bottom)
and 3 12cm exhaust.. (2 x top, 1 x rear)
there is 1 stock 12cm led fan at front intake...not sure the cfm tho but the wind that blow out is not that strong.

what fan is recommended for the front intake and btm intake?
i guess for exhaust any fan will do right?

Well, perhaps you didn't read through my Post #2062 and get the meaning clearly enough. In my recommendation to "kakicam", it's based on the normal thermal paste (if he's using one) vs TX-4, perhaps he can get some improvement if he change to better thermal paste  smile.gif

Do answer me, if there is little improvement due to buying RM30 per tube thermal paste, perhaps you should cease selling MX-4 and bring in cheapo thermal paste perhaps RM1-3 per tube coz the improvement doesn't justify what we are paying for  moneyflies.gif  moneyflies.gif

And what's wrong of doing recommendation and doing sales until you come in and provide your sarcastic statement? If indeed I'm desperate of doing sales ~ it doesn't concern you at all rite?  biggrin.gif

And guys, Tuniq TX-4 now is officially RM30 per tube in LYN, so bro "clawhammer" please edit your selling tread title and don't put up "Best compound currently!" OR best price/performance, it's not nice to "only care about selling products & con ur way through all these fake facts"  icon_rolleyes.gif

I know you're trying to earn a living but if it's in your own sales thread, you can bull and promote all you want. In other sections of the forums, I'd expect you to have some sense when recommending things to others. People like me spent tens of thousands just on PC's every year. We buy and use these hardwares ourselves so how can someone like you that only sells without real life experience deliberately argue true facts? If I have 5 PC's with TX-4 and MX-4 spreaded randomly, I can bet you won't even tell the difference because we're talking about less than 1C. If someone else does the review, I wouldn't be surprised the results would be the opposite smile.gif This shows how minimal the difference is.

The improvement between a white paste and branded paste would have vast difference. If I were to dweel further and tell you the reason, it will only humiliate you even more because it shows you totally do not know what you're talking about. I don't mind if you're desperate or if you want to reduce your price significantly because I'm not picking on you or asking for an argument. The point is, you should be more responsible in recommending options for others and I expected you to be handle such situations more maturely. I wouldn't want to list down how many types of compound I've used and I can relatively say TX-2 and TX-4 literally won't get you 4C difference either (if you apply them correctly).

People like me are enthusiasts, we try and experiment things our own. A normal user would buy what you say if they don't know the truth but before arguing with enthusiasts like me or anyone else here that plays hardwares like toys, you really need to do more homework instead of arguing blindly. In fact I can prove many things which you've said wrongly in hardware section but like I said, I'm not picking on you. Hand in heart and think for yourself smile.gif

Very rare and interesting to see two popular seller in LYN arguing each other. I agreed to both argument because I also changed cpu cooler and thermal a few times, so got experience. Personally, I prefer lingloong's feedback over clawhammer that usually too 'high' to reply

Well, he always like to "pusing-pusing" with his "macho" English in the end he's the one who didn't understand what other people is trying to express instead of living in his "enthusiast's world" rclxub.gif

I'm not in the mode ~ doing argument with this guy so let's move forward. Never got time to talk with silly people which living in his own mindset whistling.gif

It's start with a recommendation to fellow lowyatian but I'm being bash like I'm doing a high profile scam bla bla bla sweat.gif

going to make my case like this wub.gif
still considering 140mm fans
XIGMATEK 140mm fans : cheaper, sleeve bearing, dun like bling bling sweat.gif (if wan bling bling can add later, with bling bling hard to remove)
Noctua P14 FLX : Love it wub.gif but worried about static airflow and very expensive though
NZXT 140mm : don't know much about this... but some forumer here says good

120mm fans :
Arctic F12 : dun like white color yawn.gif but it already my best fan(lot cheaper than noctua one)
CM Stickeflow : i rather run delta 190cfm fan at 5v(119cfm at 26dba), i have a way to get it with cheaper price
XIGMATEK 120mm fan : bling bling again but sleeve bearing rclxub.gif
or some china 120mm fan...?

CM90 CFM.. forget about it, damn noisy after half year

I always pay attention to the noise lol... sweat.gif
now can reach 4.8ghz at 71C without air conditional(afternoon hot weather)
night air conditional can reach about 66C max(avg), lowest can reach 57.5C(semi raining that night)

aiming below 60C at 4.8Ghz (i7 2600K)

why not?? put a hsf in front of airconditional u will know the difference

Normal Fans are bottom as intake and top as exaust
because hot air are thiner
they will goes up and cold air will goes down
u knows if u got study chemistry...

Decided to go for Scythe S FLEX series fan
RM20 cheaper and only produces some more air noises compare to Scythe GT
Dun wan 140mm fan anymore because if i use 140mm fan they will blow wires only rclxub.gif
Scythe S FLEX uses sony fluid bearing
Scythe GT uses sleeve bearing or two ball bearing if i m not wrong

S FLEX wins GT at motor noise and GT wins S FLEX at air woshhh noise

GT use dual ball bearing, not cheapo sleeve bearing, i doubt anyone would by such expensive fan which only could last for 30k hours if GT use sleeve bearing doh.gif

Btw dont quite understand your last sentence,
SFLEX win GT motor noise? GT is quieter even at full speed, 1850rpm but lower CFM(60) compare to SFLEX G(1900rpm, 72cfm but f--king loud at full blast), many ppl said GT has higher static pressure.
SFLEX F, 1600rpm has similar CFM but its still noisy to my ears lol.

98 cubic meter per hour = 57.7 cubic feet per minutes, aka CFM.

there are many fans airflow are over 100CFM but mostly are thick fan, 38mm, or large fan hub.

AVC fans? i got 4 of them running on my casing, 2800rpm max, 120x120x25mm, CFM sure over 100 but its noisy + high ampere.
dun really remember the model name as they are quite long sweat.gif

Btw thick fan are more suitable to use as heatsink fan as the fan hub is smaller, less dead spot on heatsink unless you wanna install the fan shroud, but will make the fans more thicker LOL.
fan with big hug only can use as casing fan. imho.

0.35A is low speed version, plus this one is only 3 pin.
Mine are this http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=10544577326
here are the translated spec:

Bearing Type: TWO BALL
MTBF: 50000 hours
RPM: 3300
Airflow: 107.49 CFM
Noise: 46.5 dB(A)(PWM max temperature)
Voltage :12V DC
Ampere: 0.75 A
Wattage: 9.0 W
Connector type: 4pin
Fan speed monitoring: supported
