Friend's Z Ultra just died and finding for replacement, but seems like no phone can beat it's screen and GPU (he is a heavy gamer). This post has been edited by kingkingyyk: Jul 14 2016, 08:14 PM

QUOTE(ckchan @ Jul 19 2016, 01:53 PM) There was another leak here:https://gfxbench.com/device.jsp?benchmark=g...&testgroup=info The screen size stated is 5.1 inch. Well, it really looked like X Performance 2, besides the fact that it seems to be using the 21MP camera from M5 instead of the 23MP from Z5/X. |

Ah, I see anyway, did Sony answered my prayers for a successor to my Z Ultra? http://www.gsmarena.com/exclusive_sony_xpe...-news-19465.php Looks like another 5 inch, not the 6 inch. |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Jul 20 2016, 10:33 AM) from this pic it sure looks big, like 5.5inch and above Man, was hoping sony to come out with a good design phones. This one is just horrible.![]() but from these pic it looks like a 5incher screen ![]() ![]() Was a Sony pro-fan, but if they were gonna release this.. they might as well shut the whole mobile department altogether. Not to mention, the premium pricing they positioning is horrendous for the product value they offer. |

The home screen seems to be using Google Now Launcher.

Bought a XA, since I got a nice offer on it and my One M7 is dying. Honestly I'm a little underwhelmed after using the M7 for soo long. It feels a bit sluggish at times, although I know at that price point I can't really complain much but hmmmmm.

Looks better to me, especially that metal unibody design. Was a Sony pro-fan, but if they were gonna release this.. they might as well shut the whole mobile department altogether. Not to mention, the premium pricing they positioning is horrendous for the product value they offer. However, one of the design changes i can't approve of is the NFC placement. Placing it on the front is awkwardly funny. |

It looks somewhat like MI3?However, one of the design changes i can't approve of is the NFC placement. Placing it on the front is awkwardly funny. Don't get me wrong, I always loved the build quality of Sony. The metal unibody on xperia X proved that, i loved it but those are choice of material. However if speaking from design perspective, the overall design from speaker grill to the bezel are awful. I own Xperia Z, Z2 and Z3. But since then, its hard to get impressed at Sony flagships. Z2 speaker grill and LED light still legend for me. At this point Sony is better off packing their bag. Disappointed.. I was certain Sony going to produce something different after Xperia Z series ended. Sadly, its for the worst. |
