Dynamic range those are better than previous generation. |

Any owner of XA can share the battery life experience of the phone? Seems most review that I've found online said it was 'worst' and not just 'bad'. Thx

I currently using Xperia Z3, which I upgraded from Z1.
My 1st criteria of choosing a smartphone is the camera, because smartphone is my daily camera beside my other Sony camera like A7, A6000 and RX100iii So now I wonder which should my next smartphone be? Xperia Z5 or Galaxy S7.... because so many review have gave the camera on Z5 very bad comment!! |

Z5 camera shouldn't be an issue for experienced camera user. By using proper settings, you can keep the ISO low, to maintain the dynamic range and noise. For night, you can switch to downsampled 8MP to maintain the pixel quality. Here's daylight comparison. Handheld Night comparison (Z5C sample was shot with 8MP downsampled + Night Scene [Long exposure]) This post has been edited by kingkingyyk: Aug 10 2016, 05:36 PM |

QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ Aug 10 2016, 05:19 PM) Too big for his pocket The Z5 is a good phone camera only if correct settings are used but most smartphone users won't have the time tinkering the settings, so they won't go full manual all the time, unlike us. The results turn out to be much more pleasant than auto mode. Despite the aggressive noise reduction and sharpening algorithm, the colors at least does not off white balance and has better dynamic range.
