This is company issue, majority consumer don't care about it. By the way they is nothing wow component inside Sony Xperia X, others company can do it means they shall able to do it, if they can't that is their problem. As a consumer why we need to care all about this, this is not consumer problem.

The decision maker make the wrong decision need to responsible for the company. A good company shall do more research, check current market price and know what consumer want, also nowadays consumer is not stupid, consumer know to compare and pick the best, simply jack up the price because as you said possible cost issue, this is not something consumer shall compensate on it.

Fresh reboot impossible will be left only 500+MB.

After sometimes it will use more and this is normal, else those RAM will be waste. As long proper manage and proper release won't harm the performance is the correct movement. What for left plenty waste RAM there, unless you really high when see big amount RAM left.

FRESH REBOOT shall be available around 1.7GB.

I just play this phone and it actually nice looking and smooth but the price is so sorry, I won't buy.
