5th month profit (4% p.a.) received for MBB GIA-i Promo FD

uplifted my MBB GIA-i 12-mth Promo Campaign, for property purchase d/p. fund was immediately credited to SA with profit (didnt count the rate).

well, it's been fun with GIA-i. Now, doing placement with MBB GIA-i eFD instead.

exactly 1 month after placement.

if no confidence, then dont put.

that's why usually we prefer straightforward FD to lockdown the rate upon placement.

dont be confused.

last year's MBB GIA-i (over-the-counter) Promo 4.5% already ended.

current, MBB eGIA-i (M2U) with indicative rate of 4.0% is still ongoing.

yep but interesting to note that the rate is valid till 15 April.

gonna see what's the new rate like.

definitely not a bug, but more of the "nature" of GIA-i itself.

the tenure is irrelevant

i even place and withdraw in 3 days time.

i put 1k with 2 month tenure. withdraw after 3 days. prorated profit is still 4%.

hence, it doesnt matter the tenure you put because m2u will prorate the profit back to you based on the days of placement. in short, interest is calculated in daily unit.

mbb eFD can be placed and withdraw/uplift online in M2U. placement: SA --> eFD. uplift: eFD --> SA
