for 50L can go up to how many km on M3HS?
*
You wont go all the way down to 50L.

So far,

90% City driving, with super heavy traffic = roughly 42L, 420km - 450km
If balik kampung, I'm from Puchong back Lumut Jetty (hometown is Pulau Pangkor), not using highway, use kampung route. no traffic jam or what so ever.. And some spirited driving since will need to overtake those slow vehicles and lorry, RPM rev to 5-6k.
With full tank, I can have balance of roughly 2-3 small bar left. Not sure how many litres remain there, but mileage already pass 600km when back to Puchong (go and back, and drive around Setiawan for lunch)..

with that remaining fuel, I think can drive another more 60km, depending on how your heavy your foot is.. flex.gif

I changed to conti mc5. Cheaper tyre and less road noise but less grip. But the road noise reduction is so obvious. Its more quiet when driving now.

Anyway i have extra stock toyo tyre in case somebody needs them just pm me.
*
Bro, how much for your MC5?

Me too, just replaced both rear tires due to 1 side tyre was drove after punctured and caused internal wall damaged.
Replaced with Hankook v12 evo2, 225/45/18. Road noise wise, not much different. Maybe already used to the noise with Toyo tires.

Clock'ed 60,000 Soon =( Anyone using PS3 Michelin.. Any comment for this tyre?
*
Not using this tyre. But based on the behaviour of this tyre, it should reduce road noise, better comfort due to softer side wall, better performance than our stock tyre.

Tyre price should be around 600 - 700. If you able to get cheaper than that and already allocate budget, just go for it.

Recent tyre change performed by members:
Aizat - Continental MC5, RM 400
Toonny (myself) - Hankook V12 Evo2, RM 386 (exclude 6% gst)

How's the Hankook review from you?
*
Haha.. I'm sorry couldn't give any review yet. Noise wise, around the same. But can feel it is softer than toyo..

According to the boss, performance should be on par with toyo.
Tread wear, 320 if not mistaken. Should last for few years with me.. traction AA, temp A.

hankook and MC5 is the exact same size with our existing tyres?
*
I'm not sure what size Aizat took. My case, I upgraded to 225/45/18 as it is a more common size in the market.

Just a comparison PS3, 225/40/18, RM 740+-, where as 225/45/18 just around 660+-.

Our rim can take the width of 225 (18"). For GL spec 16", i'm not sure about that.

How much for the tint? Any idea on raytech?
*
Olive, I'm using Raytech RX series for side windows, front and rear windscreen is Ultra 70.

I got it from my SA, but the rebates on car is not that great, only 500 cash rebate. Tint is what I got from him, smart tag and full tank.

I find it is good. Car does still feel hot or warm when car sitting under sun for long time. But it cool down quickly, and you can feel there is almost no heat coming from outside when you put your hand next to the window.

Just find some reputable brand to ensure it provides proven heat rejection. Basically a good tint will easily cost you more than 1k.

About coating, there are alot choices and types. Some need regular maintenance, some doesn't . Do find more infos regarding this, or else you wouldn't know how and why your coating warranty is voided. And, keep in mind, coating does not protect you from stone chips.

What's the price? Expensive right ?
*
I don't know the exact price, it comes as a package.

But if you refer to their brochure, for our car is RM 4000.
So, i estimate it should be some where around RM 2.5k? Uncertain though.

Best is PM someone with name Lord Gitsy.. do search him in the forum under tint advice thread.

QUOTE(olivechong @ Jun 10 2016, 09:41 AM)
Can get till that low? The Raytech manager seems to be reluctant to give any further discounts other than the RM500 discount Bermaz gave. My budget is below 2.5k, so i'm only looking at the low-mid range tints, maybe FX or at most MX if they give me a good price. Will be visiting their shop tomorrow.

i already PM him, still waiting for his quote, he does seems slow.
*
The price on brochure is way too high in my opinion. And since SA is able to provide it as free gift, it wouldn't be that expensive lo.. hahaha..

As I mentioned, my rebates is not great, only 500 cash rebates. but i think the tint worth more and think of hassle free later on just to get tinting as what you facing now, better let him sekaligus settle all. icon_rolleyes.gif

Below 2.5k, maybe you can compare Llumar, 3M, Huper Optic, something like "Solar Guard" or "Windguard" (couldn't remember).

City drive, Civic 1.5T confirmed will be better than Mazda3, as the torque comes in earlier than Mazda3. But I dont see any pros and cons when you're in traffic jam (talking from the view point of KL, Klang Valley owner. I only know jam jam jam). Perhaps FC of Civic is better due to smaller displacement engine.

Ofcoz, acceleration wise, Civic wins all the way. Still, how often you fully utilize the torque? It feels good though, car feels like getting power constantly and any rpm range. Cruising, more or less the same, nobody will keep constantly keep the speed at over 150km/h all the way. (Tak takut speed cam ke? sweat.gif )
But talking of highspeed cruising (i mean over 150km/h) , i still think NA is better than forced induction, and also high displacement (2.0) VS small displacement (1.5). Not sure how the performance of CVT will contribute to this new Civic X.

NVH, as of what info and review get from few friends (includes M3 owner), yes, civic is better. 17" tyres, Conti MC5 vs 18" and Toyo performance tyre (you can foresee the noise is higher cry.gif ).

Most of us knows that Mazda3 is on downside when relates with noise insulation. A car is still a car, buy what you want, what you like.

berann, if not mistaken, I think you made a booking on Civic X right? Enjoy your ride and post some review in FnF. thumbup.gif

The android auto working for you? It seems like not so stable yet since it is still in beta, but the new speedometer with rpm reading is cool!!

Would be great if we can see the current gear in HUD there but I don't think it is possible

Android Auto works fine with my Nexus 5. Just that I still don't like Google Maps navigation since Waze is my preferred navigation tool.
