QUOTE(aimeh @ Mar 28 2016, 02:34 PM) after press lock need to see signal light as no lock / unlock sound My GL pain lol I also have the same problem. Sometimes have to press lock twice just to make sure. But I heard if you install auto brake/gear lock and side folding mirror the shop can add a buzzer to make a sound when you lock.

QUOTE(tbcheese @ Mar 30 2016, 08:31 PM) Goddamned Mazda workmanship. Haven't got the car for 2 weeks yet and noticed the hatch spoiler is discoloured. Probably different material so the paint reflects differently. If you look closely at the front and back bumpers you will also see a slight difference in colour with the body.

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Apr 4 2016, 02:17 PM) I understand that, RON90 is about equivalent to 87 Octane rating. Can't compare because the engine may be tuned differently for different regions. But using RON95 here has absolutely no problem.

QUOTE(lucifal @ Apr 22 2016, 11:08 AM) I-Activesense is practically a preventive collision system for drivers. The Lane Departure - alerts sleepy owners who are swaying to the left/right while driving. Smart City Braking System - alerts owners who forgotten their car front portion is nearing a solid object. Of course, if you're driving like 150km/hr or drunk driving or driving recklessly, this won't help. It also won't help in situation where other drivers hit you. This system helps the driver in preventing collision caused by the driver him/herself Don't forget Blind Spot Monitoring.

QUOTE(sathisk @ Apr 25 2016, 12:35 PM) Guys, need some advise. Last week, while driving, my car was jerking during low gear shifts. Then I serviced my car. Changed ATF, engine oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs. After changing the spark plugs, the engine vibrated a lot. My mechanic said it may be due to faulty valves. He advised me to do a computer tuning/checking to identify the problem. So I took my car to another workshop he recommended and upon checking, the mechanic noticed one of the spark plugs' ceramic casing was cracked. I got that replaced and the engine was fine, no more vibrating. Now there is no more jerking during low gear shifts but I feel the pickup is lethargic. It feels like something is holding it back when I press the accelerator at low speed. Do I need to do a computer tuning or could it be some other issues that I need to look into? Thanks in advance. May be psychological. Mazda 3 2.0 (if this is your model) has a slight lag when you press the accelerator. The torque at low speed is also not very good. Are you getting good pickup at higher speed?

Aluminium metallic is really good. Even a layer of dust is not very visible. I have to run my fingers along the metal to see that it comes up black.

QUOTE(MissHanz @ May 2 2016, 03:31 AM) Can anyone tell me how many bars or fuel left until your fuel light comes on? Also, if anybody who averages 130km/h in your usual drive can tell me what's your driving range like, how often do you have to fuel in a month on avg?? Even when I drive slow below 3k rpm, below 110km speed I still for the life of me cannot even hit the 500km mark. When I drove to Kuantan last time at avg 120kmh I got 600km ++ which is impressive for me, but not compared to others. I don't do harsh brakes and accelerate smoothly also. Gahhhhhh I can easily get past 600 km before the fuel light comes on. Daily commute is Klang to SJ on Kesas highway with a few traffic lights beginning and end of journey. Usually going at 110 to 120 km/h when road is clear with bursts of acceleration for overtaking occassionally when I rev to 3500 - 4000 rpm. Weekends some short town trips. Usually I fuel up 3 times a month.

QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ May 2 2016, 04:53 PM) Anyone knows if Mazda Glenmarie provides courtesy car? How long do you think to repair this kind of damage? Sorry about the damage. I don't think Mazda SC provide courtesy cars. If I were you I would repair it outside. You can send the car in the morning and get it back in the evening. A good shop can colour match the paint exactly so it will be as good as repairing at SC. This post has been edited by Ginny88: May 2 2016, 05:05 PM

QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ May 2 2016, 05:58 PM) The scratch is very deep. And also got a little kemek here and there. Is it possible to replace the whole door at sc? Thats why i didnt think of sending it to outside workshop. It's not necessary to replace the whole door. Our body repair shops are so good that the repair will be good as new. Unless you are claiming someone else's insurance not worth paying for the door or claiming your own insurance. This post has been edited by Ginny88: May 3 2016, 08:22 AM

QUOTE(amduser @ May 3 2016, 01:50 PM) actually no need wrap whole car la, the rear hardly get scratches, mostly is front and the door when the car park beside you open their door and bang your car even though there is enough space for them to enter thanks thanks, will order it next month I don't think wrapping is going to protect you from insensitive car door opening by the car parked beside you. Anyway how long will it last before it starts bubbling, lifting and peeling? From what I've observed it looks terrible after 1 year.

QUOTE(amduser @ May 3 2016, 08:12 PM) most likely, because 18" and 16" is quite a big difference in term of weight having the thought of downgrade my rims to 17" couple with low profile tires, wonder if it is worth but i'm short on cash now fast and furious as in zig zag on the road, attack corner at highspeed, uphill, downhill , high sped braking and etc toyo proxes and michelin PS series is the best you can get already, any higher will be semi slick which is quite dangerous at wet condition and they require some warm up for optimal performance Actually 16" already big enough for this car. Why not try to trade with a GL owner? You can even make some money out of it.

QUOTE(amduser @ May 4 2016, 06:32 AM) Today morning someone left a note outside my house say my car interior light is on, I go and check found out that I didn't turn off the interior light when I was cleaning my car Now my car is completely dead, alarm not working and cannot crank engine already, and my car is parked at b2 at my condo Hopefully there are workshop nearby that willing to lend me a small battery to swap into my car and help me recharge the stock battery Can small battery be used on our car temporary? The battery inside our car must be damn heavy to carry it and walk 500m is it? Just get a jumpstart from your fellow condo dweller. There is no need to swap in a battery.

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ May 4 2016, 10:44 AM) Save your money for petrol or tyres la....if really want change rims, save up for a proper forged set. They are expensive but stronger and lighter then standard cast units. Short trip can't recharge the battery sufficiently, need at least a 20km highway run for a good charge. There's possibility that the battery totally died as some battery cannot be revived after totally flat. After start, go to nearest workshop or service centre (if can claim battery). I don't mean full charge. All you need is to charge up enough for another start. Even 20 mins of driving will do.
