wow today manyak active. Btw as for FC my GL get around 550 up normally to 600. Normal highway and city drive. Light traffic jam on traffic light.

I change 1 of my tyre only as I kena on 1k+ mileage , change to Toyo R3. R38 so hard to find, and maybe only SC ada not to mention need to wait few weeks if order.

As for the battery, I have this question.
Is our battery good for jump start if really dead and also is our battery ok to jump start others car.
*
Only one way to find out - try it. nod.gif

But I don't see what's so special about our M3 that it cannot be jump started or jump start other cars.

finally did my 4th service n it take em overnight to rectify the "rattle" low speed/gear sound and the squeking suspension sound. the squeking simply need to change part which need to wait till june. but the "rattle" was cause of " carbon builtup" and fake ron 97 usage. thats right. those were their explanations. well few days now the rattling somewhat 90% lesser n not as loud. well see
*
Engines usually do not emit "rattle" sound. Could be something else like exhaust pipe making the sound. Anyway the explanation given by the SC is nonsense.

I saw some news that CKD madza 3 will coming out soul red color. is that true? i tot only CBU unit are available for soul red color.
*
There is some news that it may be an option but nothing confirmed. The soul red colour looks nice but it is very hard to match if you ever need to respray a panel.

My i-stop light keeps on blinking.. Anything i shud b worried about? Car only 4 days old *sigh*
*
Just press harder on the brake. i-stop will activate to stop the engine. The blinking is just to tell you it is ready.

My 2 months old M3 engine wiring bitten by Rats. Not under warranty and changing the whole set of wiring could cost around 3k. I would suggest that you guys get your engine spray by some anti-rodent repellent. Haven't found any selling in the market. Any suggestion ? Any of you experience something like this ?
*
I've never experienced this before. Do you eat food in your car? This may attract rats and cockroaches.

Is the RM3K to replace all the wiring or just the damaged part?

that is going ot change once euro5 is introduced, but now its available,at certain petrol station. since its diesel, it is worth to go there just to fill up even though u r far.
*
With the palm oil lobby pushing for B10 diesel all diesel fuels will be affected including Euro 5. What's even more frightening is they are pushing for B20 diesel in 2018 even though manufacturers like BMW and Mercedes say that B10 doesn't suit their engines which will clog up the injectors prematurely.

Until this is sorted out I would hold off getting a diesel car. Besides diesel engines have impressive max torque but they run out of grunt fast as this torque is only over a limited rpm range. In a drag race the diesel car may lose to a petrol car with much lower torque figure.

Tot you said it's very minor
Wondering is it a good decision to go for M3.
*
It happens only when the road is wet. Not a big deal for me. Because of the nature of the sound (like a loud creak) it is difficult to mask it with music. But if it bothers you you can get the SC to change some parts for you.

So as a Mazda 3 owner, you all would still think it's a great choice to buy? Even though with some knocking sound?
*
Definitey a great choice. The kruk-kruk sound when going over humps in rainy weather doesn't bother me. You'll love the driving dynamics and power of the Mazda 3.

it come with some imperfection, but i got no regret getting it, loving every bit of it since it first release overseas wub.gif

when it come to driving dynamics, i guess there is no other japanese C-segment at this price range can offer the same driving experience

for me and my family usage, my parents has no complain about space, maybe we all are not very tall and i tend to sit closer to the dashboard which give a bit more space for the rear, legroom and rear passenger space is not my concern since i dont really fetch peoples

other complain is the knocking sound that you highlighted and the noise is really loud when driving fast, but i dont seems to be bother by it, when i'm driving 150km/h i can only focus to what happen in front of me and nothing else, as long as i can still listen to my songs clearly then i okay already

i like this car, so i dont have much to complain about since i upgrade from a 10 years old vios, so everything is a notch better tongue.gif
*
What knocking sound when driving fast? I haven't enountered this although I've gone up to 160 km/h.

Just launched Civic 1.8S OTR price is RM114,800, more than Mazda 3 GL. Definitely M3 still a better buy and you are getting a 2.0L car.

Just noticed scratches at front right side of the scar.. Sigh.. Any idea of I can remove it or it will be permanently there?
*
I think they are too deep to remove by polishing. At that position it is not noticeable so live with it.

Because of sunlight means because of UV right?
If I get lower price raytech would still be good?
*
The cheaper FX for side windows is fine. More important is what they give for front windscreen between the 2 packages as this is where most of the heat comes in when you drive. This cannot be security film as it cannot be used on FWS. If both FX and MX use the top quality Ultra 70 for the front windscreen I would say go for FX.

The TSER is the important parameter to watch out for. The higher the better the cooling. The UV rejection is usually good enough between all films not to wory about.

Btw the Raytech package prices have no meaning without specifying what is used for front and rear windscreen. They cannot be security film as it will impair visibility at night. Raytech is very cagey on price. As another member said Raytech seems to have no fixed price at all unlike VKool.

Try not to waste your money on coating and body kits. The Mazda 3 body lines are beautiful already without bodykit. Coating doesn't protect your paint against bird poo, tree sap, watermark, UV light or scratches. Just wax your car every 2-3 months.

Spend your money on more useful items like tyre pressure monitoring system, front sensors and autobrake lock/auto folding side mirror instead of cosmetics. Just my 2 cents.

When using I-Stop start, the engine starter has to work harder and faster to restart the engine in order to resuming commuting. Imagine the embarrassment when your car needs a few seconds to restart at the traffic light.

The slightly harsher jerking is normal.
*
I think the starter is not involved in an i-start. Sometimes it starts smoothly and sometimes there is a bit of jerking but nothing to worry about. I usually turn it off as the fuel saved for the very short i-stops is negligible. When idling the car only use 0.7L/hr. It should be more useful in climates where you don't need to use air-con all the time.
