as far as i know , some heatpipes cooler must let the pipe end face up for optimum performance .

meaning the heatpipe must facing against the gravity (facing upwards)... but this shouldn't be a problem... it has been taken care of... u can mount the heatsink anyway u want laugh.gif

bro u definately DO NOT have to worry bout heavy hsf breaking ur mobo, as most hsfs nowdays are designed dat way, a little commen sence would tell u that companies would not be realeasing hsfs that break mobos, my personal opinion, best bet if u looking for a compact and real value for money is try and see if u can get the si-120/128 , or artic cooling freezer. DO NOT in any way buy a all in one wc kit, but if u must , best one imo is the aquagate mini r120 small and compact. also as somepeople have mentioned , to start a nice wc kit is 600, that is bs, (no oofence yeah) u need at least 1000 for a kit that performes well, because u can buy a kit for 600 from swiftech or dd, but will be beaten by a highend hsf that only costs 1/3 of the price, not to mention constant maintainence / checking/ cleaning for the wc parts. look at my sig and u will see a wc rig worthy of anybodys money. which can be had for little over 1200. (im not selling off by the way) .

what lolhalol said is correct.. dont have to worry that much about the weight unless it is 1kg above or you love to shake your casing violently smile.gif 3rd party heatsink nowadays is perfectly safe to use..

for your case, i think it is better for you to go for Air Cooling. Water Cooling need regular maintainance and it is expensive. Cheap water cooling dont do much for your cpu, alot of high end air cooling can easily beat them as said by other forummer.

High End Air Cooling Brand (proven effective): Thermalright Ultra/XP Series, Scythe Infinity/Ninja, Noctua NH-U12, Tuniq120 and etc smile.gif

if u worry about the height of the heat sink, go for something smaller lo. i just bought myself a Scythe Andy Samurai Master from sg.. it is 120mm in height and weight around 600g+++ about the performance, i havent test it... but should be ok lo since it is from Scythe. haha..

been using hyper 6 which is heavy on my secondary rig since early 2005... juz remove it when u want to move ur rig to other places which is far... like upstairs or to another address to prevent accident... it wont break ur mobo... just handle with care when moving the case around...

hyper 6 isnt that big.
imagine me with the Scythe Infinity and a 38mm fan attached to it with the lousy LGA 775 mounting. ow that's a horror, but my board is still alive biggrin.gif

Have been using Hyper 6+ (Damn huge HSF) for few months, no problem at all.
Coz all these damn HUGE HSF comes with Universal Retention Bracket(stick damn hard to ur MOBO), so wont be a problem dude.
