hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

i jus went to lowyat to survey bout air cooling which is the same meaning as third party processor heatsink. I can say that i was interested to get 1. Before this i did post a topic asking recommendations from sifu's here. They recommend me the thermaltake tt big typhoon. shocking.gif When i c it at 1 of the comp shop at low yat it was huge man. So ther rise a question in my mind. Since it is so big n a bit heavy la.When installed into casing la n ur casing is put straight will the weight of the huge heatsink wreck the motherboard ? If ur casing is place lying on sumthing or floor i tink will b ok la. But wat if i put it straight. Will it make the motherboard to bengkok n the heatsink socket on the processor can tahan o not.

hope to hear sum advice from sum sifu's here. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Jus curious to know will ther b any side effect if the heatsink is being installed n remained for a long time. Veli scare the motherboard will bengkok. i did try to hold the tt big typhoon it seems quite heavy. A guy in it hypermarket tell me tat the motherboard may go a bit bengkok cos of the weight n another guy in another shop say dpends lo but he added sum advice to me is tat better the heatsink din hit on the motherboard capasitors.

My own comment la. its 2 big n i m living in rented house. So sumtime my fren may come to use my com. Sure dey gona bend my case n have a look n eveli time when i go back hometown sure bring it back meaning i may move it 3 -4 times a year equals to my holiday times. tongue.gif

hate my cpu temp.

i tink have to do a poll result who agree with the weight of the heatsink issue. But so far now how many of u agree that the weight of the heatsink will wreck ur mobo in short or long period of time. Any1 out ther willing to share sum opinion ? You are welcomed to do so. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

May b unless after install the big tt my case have to put laying on the floor. It may reduce the chance of wrecking the mobo. So no weight force from the heatsink.
