I am planning to move to Celcom after many years with Maxis. Celcom First Gold plan is so much appealing than Maxis now. I need some advise on MNP. I have a few supplementary numbers on Maxis and I just want to move the principle line and some supplementary number. The existing supplementary number which I do not MNP need to change their plan? They are on supplementary plan now. I don't really want to switch due to the hassle but Celcom is so much more appealing now. Maxis should step up or maybe give me a promotional plan. QUOTE(suicideroach @ Feb 7 2016, 11:33 AM) Hopefully Maxis will call and counter offer you when you registered the Map process I hope they will give me some offer on their plan as I don't really like the process of switching carrier. But then, it is very unlikely.

Getting Started

|
If you're a long time customer (>10 years), chances are they will ring you up for a chat. MNP is not really a hassle. Just got to settle all outstanding amounts and hope for the best.

I want to port one of my supplementary line in Maxis to Celcom as a new principle number, can I do it directly or I need to change the supplementary line to prepaid first?
Any cooling period once I change it to prepaid?

Hi Blacktubi, You need to change first your supplementary number to principle plan which mean you need to separate out the number from your current account first before request to port out the number. Thank you

Hi blacktubi, No need for you to change your supplementary to prepaid just separate out the number & change the plan to any lowest principle plan. If you change the number to prepaid before the port out request, there will be 30 days cooling off period. You may change your number to prepaid once your port request completed. Thank you
