Sorry I want to correct my older post... The Aztech DSL8800GR(S) is an adsl (streamyx) modem NOT unifi (vdsl or fiber) modem with built in router that supports TM unifi. Great for those who are still using Streamyx but waiting for Unifi to come and wanted something that is 'future proof' when he/she upgraded to Unifi one fine day...

I checked, vdsl from unifi the modem still encrypted, so market no selling.

Only way to get replacement is from tm since it's their service.

My pov, it is pointless to buy something expensive that is "future proof".

Technology is evolving each day, who know there may be VDSL3 coming out in the future, all VDSL2 "future proof" product may become obsolete by then.

VDSL2 was not existent about 5/6 years ago.

You buy what you can use today. smile.gif

I just checked tplink and dlink, both don't provide vdsl.

Den I checked asus site, the same model ad u posted earlier, only one model supported.

I have no idea any other brand support vdsl...

so many brand for Unifi router around, TPLINK, ASUS, DLINK.. which one good? what's the difference between the <Rm100 and > rm200 products?

I need something that can support wireless throughput more than 30mbps as the stock router by TM really sucks.
