hope will be available in Msia too ...
Still identifiable as the mid spec model unless u chrome the door handle. For all that hassle, might as well get the premium trim.

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 11 2016, 05:35 PM) 1.8 variant can beat the rest of entry level C segment vehicle. All the latest technology are well equipped but the rough center armrest really not that good. Interior wise, the only drawback for the 1.8l is the center armrest. But it can be easily fixed. Bring it to upholstery shop and get it warp up nicely. The civic's fabric seats are better than any c segment models that comes with fabric seats. Most people would envy the 1.5tc-p but having booked it, i'm envy the 1.8l the most for all the features its getting with such price! Except for Mazda, the rest must be scrambling keep its customers. |

QUOTE(usopkun @ Jun 13 2016, 09:46 AM) Excuses. If they need a car, they will say otherwise.Facelift is a stock clearing exercise and if the model is selling well, Honda will only facelift late in its cycle. If u look at fd, they added only a few cosmetic changes to clear old stock and make way for fb. |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jun 13 2016, 01:17 PM) The Civic rear legroom competes with my BMW 5 Series. So if indeed the City & Almera has more legroom then they are better than the 5 Series also. what I saw from various american reviews, I mean big size American reviewers telling the whole world their gigantic height (lucky not length) all saying this civic's leg room is huge. If u don't believe ur ears, u just got to see it. It also has class leading interior space (almost b segment big) and they were questioning the need for accord... So what are these people talking about smaller than city legroom Best guess is they haven't been in the back seat in bright daylight to fully appreciate its space. |

QUOTE(vostro78 @ Jun 13 2016, 10:07 PM) honda civic is vy hot topic now. a lot of my colleague also talk around and share their point at facebook during launch.... I see them doing roadshows wherever I go. But being toyota, they'll only give rebate on service or accessories instead of discount on the car.well i just hope toyota faster come out a huge discount for their altis and load with more accessories... consumer win!! They are not really fazed by the civic because altis is mainly aimed at audience above 40s n 50s who emphasizes on safety first ... who happens to be ignorant of civic's standard 6 airbags, VSA, ABS, EBD, BA, Hill Start Assist ... |

Heard honda is reducing productions for all the other models so they can increase civic's. Hence delivery will be earlier than expected. If I didn't hear wrongly, they can deliver as many as 20-30 cars per mth.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 14 2016, 12:36 PM) U ain't going no where with a dead battery. Why worry about the brake On serious note, it's not the 1st time Honda is equipped with it so I guess they must already have a solution for this. |

QUOTE(Paneuropa @ Jun 14 2016, 04:12 PM) i say hrv you say civic. gearbox not same. rim tyre not same. Any links to your claim? Honda and Toyota get lots of sticks and publicity if anything goes wrong. So at least give few examples to back up your claim.honda owners are too proud to admit problem. just ask those aftersales or honda malaysia staffs la. |

QUOTE(jimmychangas @ Jun 15 2016, 10:14 AM) Good morning dear sifus, 1.8l: 6.3 litres per 100 km (15.9 km/l)I'm looking to getting a new car, and the new Civic is basically the choice now. Just that haven't decided on the engine choice. I ain't no engine expert, so I've been asking around for opinions. People have been telling me that the turbo engine would most likely encounter maintenance issues somewhere down the line, not to mention increased fuel consumption. Basically, the good old 1.8 is the way to go. Would like to seek the golden advice from you sifus. Many thanks in advance... 1.5t: 5.8 litres per 100 km (17.2 km/l) 1.5t has lower fuel consumption but higher bhp and torque. So far maintenance cost is just slightly more than 1.8l. |

QUOTE(knwong @ Jun 15 2016, 09:36 PM) They are security film as well. 3m offers 3 mil thickness while base EcoTint offers 4 mil. The thickest EcoTint is 6mil.The thicker the film the stronger it is against impact. 8mil is not really recommended as it might jam the window and void warranty. http://www.honda.com.my/corporate/press_re...lers-Nationwide |

I think it's time to create a new thread for owners and prospective owners in Lyn.
I vote @usopkun to start the thread. |

QUOTE(hamrog @ Jun 17 2016, 11:28 AM) I should be getting my 1.5T silver by next Tuesday if all goes well. Take honda insurance package. If lost they will pay u 100% of the insured amount. What I'm most concerned about is the security of the car. I assume it will be probably quite high on the theft list. What's the level of security |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 17 2016, 12:42 PM) It depends on your ride. Just now I drive out from the showroom and along the way can get only 8.XX km/l with RON 95 inside the petrol tank. After refuel with V Power Racing, now can get 12.XX km/l. As a conclusion, the km/l indicated on the meter is subject to the quality of fuel you pump to the vehicle. Congrats! How r u coping with all the attention on the road? Are u required to bring the car back for service at 1000km? Seems like u r batch is the earliest to take delivery in Malaysia. Hoping to get mine by Friday. |
