You need to open an account first in order to capture the units.
*
If no unit, passbook and forms will be destroyed.
Next time trying to open will need to start all over again.

So far, is the one account number for every types of ASX you hold in place already? Those of you with >1 ASX, your new passbooks all use same account number now or different?

Ladies & Gents, your best bet for hunting today would be AS1M, ASM and lastly ASW.

All the best  :flex:

Good info, thanks.
Your source can also review how much available for each? Like 3 digit / 4 digit / 5 digit / more?

Need to use the magic words, like:

(A) I will report to BNM.
(B) I want to see your BM.

Any agent can open, unless they system down or something.
But that time my relative try to open, when no units, passbook will be destroy, thats all.
Now don't know still got like this or not. They said new system can check unit available, and AS1M also on new system now.

UPDATE:
If you really want to make them "padan muka", write down the staff name, counter #, Branch Name, then you send email to : asnbcare@pnb.com.my

See if they kena or not.

They are serving ASNB. So I think if somebody complain, ASNB have to go and give them some music.

I've just discovered a BIG error in my old AWS 2020 book. I didn't update the passbook from 1999- 2005 and all the dividends are missing.

Is it possible to recover the $$ lost after so many years? I'll have to go to ASNB tomorrow.
Sleepless night for me now knowing about it. :stars:

I think if you don't update passbook for a long time, transactions that are OLDER than 2 YEARs will not be printed when you go to update. (Anyone can double confirm?) That's why it's better to update at least once a year.

I suspect your case maybe like that too? Where the dividend records are too old and not printed when you update anymore.

Just curious are ASNB branches normally packed with people? Is it efficient or slower than banks?
