Wat is your IRR in ASN3/ASG?
*
I think I make a loss of −6.31387974% in 2 years. Hopefully it turn around. Did I do the calculations right?
((((Current NAV x no. of units) - original price)/original price) x 100%) /2 years

looks so complicated. I go traditional way

how much you got divide how much you spend x 100
*
That's what I got. I got -12.x% for 2 years. So 1 year is -6.x% right?

Why not? There's always demand for such funds. Only ASNB providing these kind of funds.

Not joint account. Use surat wakil. Sometimes bank asked for it, most of the time no (must choose the bank that don't ask for it)

They won't contact you like other UT agents cause they don't need to. biggrin.gif laugh.gif

Hi all.. can i know whether RHB do ASNB topup for ASM/ASW/AS1M? or only ASX VP?
*
Rhb no problem. At my place, don't even need to take no. Straight proceed to counter. Maybank, cimb, rhb are the 3 original banks selling and buying ASX FP.

anyone successfully topup ASX through internet banking? What's the success rate?
*
There are some who managed. But generally not as good as counter. Online is only restricted to AS1M for non-bumi.

even for RHB also those ASM and ASW2020 are only for bumi??
*
No info for that. You can try and let us know. Try topping up ASM via RHB online and see (asm have the most units now so won't waste your RM1.06 - you will most likely get the units)

Calculated. If wish to have average dividend of 2k per month, at least must have 380k in asx.

Still long way to go.
*
Yup. Rm380k. Cannot reach that level. sad.gif laugh.gif

If you have time, try everyday if it's convenient to you. If no time try once a month or on dividend day.

QUOTE(filage @ Apr 7 2016, 08:22 PM)
Does REIT pay better than ASX? What about if investor is the can't be bother to study or spend time on studying different company REIT/portfolio etc., then ASX is the most suitable?
*
Sometimes yes. Around the range of 5-8%. However, keep in mind that REITS value can flucuate unlike ASX FP where it remain at RM1/unit. If you are going into REITS, best prepare min RM10k first or else all the tax makes it not worth (according to Dividend Magic Blog). ASX FP is tax free. Yes, then ASX FP will be better option. But you will need to "hunt" for units.

The choice is your actually. Unker Hansel said that SG REITS are better than Malaysia's. Might want to look into that aspect.

The tax is for Malaysia? Like have to declare in LHDN filing?

Always wanted to have some exposure to REIT, but everytime I read I don't know where to start. When I look at those REIT website, full of company names and charts and tables of data, giving me stars. Also the brockerage fee and all that right not like ASX want to withdraw then withdraw/buy.
*
Malaysia stock market got tax. You don't need to fill up LHDN as the tax will be automatically subtracted from your payout.

Singapore is tax free. vmad.gif mad.gif But this is OT.
