Rahab was a prostitute, Ruth was a moabites..a clan which God swore will never enter into his assemblies...Bathsheba..Affair...

Answer once again = Grace. God is really REALLY Graceful. 

Do you know that the Gospel is also called the Gospel of Grace?

Acts 20:24 (KJV) - But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

It's really good news...to the point some people says..it's too good to be true.

What is the Gospel of Grace? The New Testament is all about God's wonderful work to save us, He did it because God is a good God, full of grace....not we saving ourselves via 10 commandments...that is the contrast.

Grace is not a subject or a topic, Tina.

Grace is the person of Jesus Christ.

If Churches knew and understood, that Grace should be the very first & foremost emphasized and magnified, Life would be transform.

Grace of God is everything to me and I hold that utmost important in the Christian Life.

I got to know a malay couple who have converted and are now seeking asylum in australia. They have arrived on tourist visa with their 5 kids and a small local church has been supporting them financially but many members are now struggling with additional support.

One of the church member has approached my relative to assist the poor couple out by providing casual work.
I do hope and pray they will have some success with their application as it will be a long process for asylum seekers.

I believe the family is now stuck in australia. Many the their family members have now disowned them.  I do pray Malaysia will be a more liberal country one day allowing the malays the choice of religion.

Because some pastor lack confidence that the goodness of God (which is also define as Grace) will lead people to repentance.

Because they see people as always not ready for God, living in sinful lifestyle, therefore they have more confidence that fear will lead people to repentance as in the Old Testament way. So they preach hell, doom and gloom or strong obedience to the Law.

The New Testament is the New Covenant in effect. The Old Testament way has been nullified and void at the cross for the believers. And New Testament says it is GRACE that lead people to repentance.

Romans 2:4 (NIV) - Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Titus 2:11-12 (NIV) - For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

There it is, clear as day.

The point is...preaching hard on the Law (you must love God more! You must obey God's Law!, etc etc) is not going to work for believers because God does not backup on that covenant. There are Christians who doesn't know this.

It's stem from rationalizing with the logical mind. Naturally that's how it works in the world. Using Fear.

BUT God's way is always mind blowing and different.

They'll say it doesn't make sense and just too good to be true for God's goodness to lead people to repentance because by this they think...why would anyone repent if God keeps on being graceful and forgiving. That is the natural mind thinking.

but they don't understand God's way is far more powerful than Man's way can ever be. Do you know the Law of God in the OT is nothing more than the focus of Man's way?

I rest my case.

My only complain on the Catholics, they focus too much on Man, the Saints the Lady this or that, so and so.

They just cannot focus only on God and God alone.

I just don't know why they can't understand this.

Ephesian 4:11-14 (NIV)

Notice the focus is on The Knowledge of the Son of God only?..... and not on any saints..the way to recite prayers or whatever rituals there is?

And who is Jesus Christ personified? Answer = (again) GRACE! <-----Look up Hebrews 13:9.

The Saints, the Apostle, the Teachers, Evangelist ALL MUST have 1 goal..point people to Jesus Christ, to be united in Faith on this.

Still back to Christ Jesus, his finished Work, the Cross is more than enough, because there is where all our providence lies..Our Healing, Our Prosperity, Our Protection...our everything.

Referring to the saints here on earth.

If Christ has removed our Sins once and and we are made cleaned by his blood, technically we are Holy or Saints if you will.
