QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jun 1 2016, 11:23 PM) How did you think Indonesia, can install a Christian Mayor and their religious freedom for Christ? Indonesia has a Christian mayor? I didn't know that. Eventhough Indonesia have more Muslim followers than Malaysia, generally I think they are more relax regarding religion right? The Christians there really know how to worship God. If it can happen to Indonesia, It can happen to Malaysia for sure. Don't worry, we just need more prayer warriors and worshipers. Well apart from the occasional bombing... Uhm, last I read about hudud in Indonesia, they punished this elderly Christian lady for a crime of selling booze to non Muslims. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jun 1 2016, 11:32 PM) That was in Acheh. It's like the Somalia of Indonesia. Speaking of that, when I visited East Malaysia, I saw a church and a mosque side by side too. Plus, when we visited the coffee shops, I saw Malay, Chinese, etc.. eating in the same shop. But the shop was selling pork noodle...Yeah they do have more moslems there but today there can a Church beside a Mosque and they have no problem...not because the people are more relax there but God is at work responding to the praises and prayer of the Christians there. Good that God is at work. |

So its established that the unknown fear came from Devil. But did you guys realize that some church pastor / priest are also putting unneccesary fear to its congregations too.
Why is that? That's totally uncalled for. |

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jun 5 2016, 02:10 AM) I find satire sites to be trouble. It's a really thin line and I think it's disrespectful in general. Satire sites are just for fun, hence the name. Beside don't compare US satire and Malaysian satire. Of course if its really out of context and touching sensitivity of others, then its not alright. Don't be such a Taliban. QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jun 5 2016, 02:11 AM) Even if its full of garbage, nobody force you read it. Duh..Besides I got relatives working there, so please use kinder English words next time. You are just like those aunties in my previous church in Malaysia who likes to spout unnecessary words to others. |

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jun 5 2016, 05:07 PM) There's a thin line between defending your family, and defending your family by insulting others. The fact you freaking labelled me as an AUNTY who spouts unnecessary words to others immediately slaps a general bias on me. And you think what you did there is better than me? Whatever la. You and UW are both the same. Always want to bend people views towards your own.Am I very angry? Yes, I am very angry because you just did a "you can't do this but I can do this to you" scenario. You can generalize me as a nagging aunty. I can't generalize anything about you. Is that it? Pretty much every american friend I have describes Fox news as 'Garbage'. I'm not insulting your family, I'm literally telling you the agreed consensus of their local people. American themselves think Fox News is not good like how we Malaysians think Utusan Malaysia is not good. So what if you have relatives working there? I have relatives working in BN too. So when other people complain about BN, should I take it as jabbing my family's pride? The answer is no. Tina, be very careful of what news you spread to others. If it's misinformation, it can make you look dumb. If it's unpleasant, it makes you look inconsiderate. Maybe today you'll laugh at me being a snooty aunty. But let me tell you this: these were the mistakes I made. For your sake don't fall into the same trap. And when people don't succumb to your idealism, you ignore them. Whatever garbage news posting I've posted here and in the future, you can always reject / ignore them. Nobody ask you to bloody accept them. FYI, nobody is laughing at you. |

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jun 6 2016, 11:38 PM) Sigh Sure as Christians we ought to forgive and forget. But on the condition that people don't "cross your path" right? My mom always say just because other people behave so and so, doesn't mean it's right. Okay, as brother and sister of Christ we can forgive and forget. But what impression will you leave on other people? Especially non-christians? If they misunderstand and take offence, they might hold a grudge forever. We 'keypoh' because we are concerned. We want the best for you. Maybe we can say 'I can behave however I want'. But reality have consequences. Right now probably people who read this may think I am too strict. Or even hypocritical. Well, that's my consequence. It's what I have to pay for acting on my emotions and being rash. I rest my case. You want to listen to advice or not is up to you. Not gonna say anything more. You talked as if I'm at fault. Excuse me, but why are you giving me advice? You mean my use of language toward your reply is / was wrong? That's why I've said so many aunties in Malaysian churches who behaved like this. |

But why do other religions when they fast, they are fasting thru' out the whole day. Then when its dinner time, they are starving and eating more than they should.

QUOTE(De_Luffy @ Jun 8 2016, 03:21 AM) suggest you go somewhere else go taman rashna there's plenty of shops serving bkt, all are famous for their own type of bkt or another place pandamaran Is it in Klang too? I've tried another type of BKT which is the dry version. I find it's too salty for my preference. I like the soft and tender pork ribs. Don't like the hard pork meat though. |

Proverbs 3:5 NKJV
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In the beginning, I think its hard for anyone to accept Christianity, especially newbies, so its the Holy Spirit that will eventually lead that person to Christ. Its always the issues of faith vs reason. Christians "plants" the "seeds" for the new believers but its God that "gives the increase." 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 NKJV I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jun 15 2016, 11:47 PM) yup the principal is like that. Today I may not be able to get through the guy but as time goes by..God will use the next person and perhaps the next person after that..slowly catching the heart of the person. Its like a never-ending cycle to be a catalyst for God. BTW what do you think of Madison Cunningham? Is she beautiful for your standard? She's reminds me of my British classmate back in school. hehe... Nice song. God made us all beautiful. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jun 16 2016, 12:27 AM) Sometime I get the impression as if God is asking me..am I ready to face people like that if I go full time ministry. I think most important is be patient. Coz you know newbies asked alot of annoying questions. Sigh. I don't know if this is training ground zero or what. Back in the 6th century, monks make beers to supplement their meagre income. Its about being patience and alot of dedication. Well I'm not saying that you should brew beer IF you take up full time ministry. Heck even God used people like Moses... |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jun 16 2016, 12:36 AM) I didn't know this either. Maybe it's just tradition for some. My mum told me its an old tradition in China. Supposed they don't practice that in Malaysia? What to do? Well if you don't want it, can always gift it to me by post. Oh I got no problem sending, its just that in Malaysia, many stories of missing parcels happened. Mysteriously disappeared. Even my stuffs I've sent from Germany to Malaysia to my friends disappeared. Sheesh... |
