QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 4 2016, 11:19 PM)
If you meditate slowly on Psalms 23, you'll find prosperity, success and healing in there.
But this only comes by revelation and valid only for believers.
All the best.
QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 5 2016, 08:57 AM)
And do you think God is only interested in that above all else? No, God is interested in every aspect of your life, even financial.
And God Blessed Abraham and Job so richly, they didn't become corrupt. They are called Man of God, despite being Richer Financially than you are or anyone in here combined.
There are a lot of wrong understanding within the Christian circle when it comes to the matter of prosperity and money.
I've seen it time and time again, syiok is not the first to tell me, Jesus is born poor and He die poor. But that is not the right view.
Sometimes I feel like taking up this subject and push it through until it causes uneasiness but it gets you to start thinking whether we are adhering to scripture or really adhering to our self righteous standards when it come to money.
I know it's a very sensitive subject, I also know I will be stepping on some toes but Please Dear Believers (speaking to everyone reading), have patience, this is for your growth.
Ok the first few verses talk about rest, food and water. When I read the commentary, it says that Jesus leads his people to all that they need.
The third and fourth verse talk about God being a guide to us. The commentary says that if we believe in Jesus, He will raise us from the dead.
The fifth and sixth verse talk about life in heaven. Again the commentary says that if we believe in Jesus, we will always live in the house of the Lord.
So the rest means healing eh?
Other commentary says that the basis of obedience is the sense of salvation. We work not for the assurance of acceptance and forgiveness, but from it.
God always supply us. So this is prosperity eh?
I don't know where is the success part. I read my German commentary bible, there's joy.
Between English and German bible, I got sidetracked a bit....

In the beginning I used to think like shioks too. That Jesus don't need materialistic things. That kind of mindset.
Well actually, in Psalms too there's a verse that mentioned about God wanting us to prosper.
So ruffle some feathers. Some of us are in a comfort zone.
