for modding HG is probably the best because so many kits available and also easy for beginner
RG for better detailing in terms of small size, MG for those who want something bigger and more detail
I wouldn't recommend PG for beginners but if u insist they're very large with a lot parts for better detail

Price is irrelevant actually because there is no fixed price for gunpla even for each grade because for example HG kit got lowest price as low as Rm25 and highest price would be Rm1k(HGUC Dendrobium)

But if you mean good gunpla to buy and spend less money I could say SD kit and HG kit. Its usually less than Rm100. MG we rarely get more than RM300 so I dont know your budget preference.
While PG is cost about RM450-900. RG typically maintain the price at 2500 yen but lately they break the price limit to become expensive (still below Rm200)

just came back from the expo. Truth be told i was surprised so many expo kits available. either they have tons of stock OR people are not buying OR bad location.

Yeap compare to last time at IPU, the stock still a lot even at Sunday.
But sadly the Star Winning Expo total out of stock.
The only 1 that i wanted the most...

I think RX78 G3 also gone.. Didn't see any box around.

Price increase perhaps and not many good choices.

My friends who went there on Saturday said the crowd was not as appealing as it was during previous years at IPC.

Maybe because the expo ends on 4th december. Compared to previous years, it only held for one week.

Location as well. IPC have more pass-by customers

It is about the same actually, it was held for around 10 days previously.

Agreed, I still think the location in Subang was a bad choice. Yes LRT is available but you need the volume of patrons for the attraction.

Hopefully next year they will bring it back to IPC or a better location.

If you're not getting expo exclusive kit, don't bother your time to go there (for the purpose of purchasing). It's cheaper outside and even more online.

last week to go pay a visit to the event... been overseas for few weeks... hope i can make it, but is it crowded ?

The only worthwhile kit is MG Delta Plus @ RM150, conversion rate at about 0.034.

Everything else is at 0.041 or above rate, which u can find better pricing outside.

MG X Gundam is also good at RM120.. I also heard MG Exia Dark Matter is also good but sold out when I was there so no idea how much it was
