Most regional index flipping from red to green. The bull is still stubborn and going strong

I am currently holding close to zero shares. I am sitting on a pile of cash. Waiting for the right opportunity.

Kentrade account - just sold off Muhibah just now at costs. Only holding DBS now (very small holding). It is up about +15%.

Rakuten account - sold off OpenSys, Genting and Muhibah this morning for a small profit.

The valuation for most of the shares on Bursa are now very rich. They are not supported by the fundamentals at all. I think it is only good for trading and not for long term investment.

We live in dangerous times...

I plan to diversify more into broad based ETF's beyond Malaysia, DCA style.

I don't know how to time the market and neither do I want to be a doomsayer. Hell, I am not even a good investor or trader. 

But I have been working for more than 20 years. I joined the work force in 1997 during the Asian Financial Crisis. Since then,  I have seen the ups and downs of the economy and the stock market.

I believe in holding more cash in preparation of the impending storm.

My 2 cents view as usual....no wrong or right approach.

if one can consistently time a market correctly, he is either a demi-god or a time traveler.

take note also... people tend to talk a lot about their success stories but keep mum about their failures.

so, yes... unless u were born yesterday, do what suits u best, what u feel comfortable, what risk u can take or not take.

As Long as u don’t play margin and has strong holding power for those potential counters, it will come back sooner or later..

If solely based on gambling-style, then good luck.

One thing I keep seeing on i3 forums, sharks and 'operators'. Who are they, really? People keep mentioning operators are manipulating stock prices and have the power to push up stock prices if they want to make a profit.

How does it work?

I already cancelled all my unfilled orders, in the hope of lower prices in the days ahead.

Glad I have a small short position and a small position in gold.

Glad still have some dry powder.

But who knows, maybe this 'sales' is 1-2 nights only

no sell at profit? I told everyone to take profit and start shorting few days ago. Now all too late.

Meh all recovered within an hour. Sales over.

I woke up with -10% down on my account. Almost sold all my positions, then I remembered the wise words that says "be greedy when everyone's fearful" in 30 minutes managed to make 50% all around   

Lol WTH..... someone is "playing" at Top Glove counter now. Price falls to 16.70, and steady..... then naik to 17.00+.... and fall back to 16.70 after few minutes. Like see-saw.

Some thoughts, as the current drop in US markets was due to the fear of 2nd wave pandemic, wouldn't it be another reason people go in again for more glove counters and subsequently push higher? Given the price has dropped from the ath now hmm
